While in game you can press the menu button to bring up some options. From here you can create save states and later resume exactly where you left off. Native menu will show the retroarch menu if you wish to make any changes. Netplay will set up an online game with other Miyoo Mini Plus’ gamers. You do need to be using the same emulator and ROM file for this to work. We do advise using another micro SD card to install Onion OS as they offer larger storage space for example Onion Os is also not without its own bugs but less than before, so be aware of this before installing it. Once you have copied your files to the micro SD card, you eject it, then insert it into your Miyoo Mini+ Plus. You can now switch it on, it may take a little longer to boot this first time if you copied many games to the card. Just give it a minute or two and do not switch it off. Still, I must remind you that the Anbernic RG35XX is cheaper with the same screen size and performance. Moreover, the vertical handheld form isn’t usually my go-to option for playing action games. The Miyoo Mini Plus certainly brings hand fatigue if you focus too much on intense game scenes. However, I don’t want to discourage you, because I even experience such hand fatigue in more, more expensive devices. Onto the shoulder buttons, I am actually impressed. It seems Miyoo have listened to their customers and have made larger, far more comfortable shoulder buttons for this device.

I’m going to assume you’ve got OnionOS installed. Virtually everyone does and, if you buy your Miyoo Mini Plus from us, we do it for you. The screen used is very bright, the perfect 4:3 aspect ratio for playing old games and features small bezels, giving it a modern sleek look which I dig. As you can see, the design of the device is beautiful. The screen looks absolutely gorgeous and really shows on the more colourful games of yesteryear. The viewing angles are very good and I must admit I have not had any problems at all with the screen or the device as a whole.
