I had never heard those words, ‘My mate fancies you,’ which every other bloke I knew seemed pretty familiar with. But Kate from the estate was definitely– very definitely – smiling at me. I took a couple of sips of my beer as my mind went into overdrive trying to work out what was going on. She was moving closer to where I was standing, laughing with her mates and every few minutes throwing her dazzling smile in my direction. She was less than a couple of feet away from me. An interesting book. Maybe not to my tastes but anyone who's into nautical journeys should find it interesting. And since its a true story, it makes the tale quite amazing.
