For me it was more important to set aside time for devotion rather than whether I completely agreed with Young’s interpretation. I recommend this book to any Christian as part of their daily time with God. The above message is fraught with problems. How is Jesus related to “our innermost being?” All who trust in Christ are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, but He is not part of our being. The Holy Spirit is never part of man’s nature. And what “holy Center” is Young referencing? This is not a concept found in Scripture; Scripture teaches that man is fallen, in sin, and needs a Redeemer.
