About this deal

Thanks for the kind words, Andy! There’s a good deal of work yet to be done beyond the Protestant Bible, which I might take on one day (even though I’m not Catholic). ;-)

Throughout the book follows the unifying theme of God's love, mankind's rebellion, and God's work to reconcile and redeem mankind. The human mind is one of the most fascinating works of God—but I don’t think that means all dreams are significant on the level that, say, Joseph’s were. Still, I find them useful. You can learn a lot about yourself by paying attention to what you dream. I’ve had so many powerful moments with him, things I knew in my head but when I see the results from the data being analysed there was a deeper and profound revelation. One of those moments was seeing the totals of Jesus declaring himself being equally Son of God and Son of Man! WOW!Allow a book designer to review the finished book to ensure that information is clear and readable — this includes both the sizes and the colors used throughout the book. Same king, same problem: a troubling dream that only Daniel can interpret. This time a huge, magnificent tree is cut down to earth, and the stump and roots are left to go mad. I basically love all things paper and ink, working as an illustrator and conceptual designer for print for 24 years and in publishing for 17 of those. That experience stretched across different media including: top magazines; Alpha and HTB; global charities like World Vision and Zacharias Trust and publishers including HarperCollins, Hodder & Stoughton and Penguin Random House.

I simply could not have done this journey without a very real relationship with Jesus, Father God (who I call ‘our Dad’) and the wonderful Holy Spirit. This timeline visualises the who, what and where of events leading up to and through Easter. You can follow the lines to see the progress of particular individuals - for example focusing in on Friday shows how Jesus draws aside Peter, James, and John and entreats them to pray before Judas and a crowd arrive. Judas betrays Jesus with a kiss, Jesus is arrested, and the disciples flee, while Peter and John follow at a distance. With God, we get to do those things the world says are impossible. Of course it takes risk and vulnerability from us, and creating this book has taken both! The New Testament has graphics of all Jesus' teaching, all His parables, and who He taught and how. Even the Bible has become the target of sentiment analysis enthusiasts. This visualisation claims to explore the "ups" and "downs" of the Bible narrative, using sentiment analysis to quantify when positive and negative events are happening. The results? "Things start off well with creation, turn negative with Job and the patriarchs, improve again with Moses, dip with the period of the judges, recover with David, and have a mixed record (especially negative when Samaria is around) during the monarchy." You can explore the book-by-book results here. Printed using the Giclée pigment ink method on 100% cotton Hahnemühle rag makes these prints of the highest quality art prints. Archival certified and if treated properly, will last a lifetime without fading.

Catching up on some sleep I think… and then who knows, it’s one of the things I love about being freelance and get so excited working with Jesus, because who knows the doors he is going to open next! About the Infographic BibleKaren Sawrey: It’s such a tough choice. Please can I have two? John 10:10, where Jesus declares he’s come that we may have life and life to the full, and Luke 1:37 (NKJV), that says with God nothing is impossible. This is about how the bible speaks to itself - or the textual cross-references within it. The bar graph that runs along the bottom represents all of the chapters in the Bible. Books alternate between white and light gray and the length of each bar denotes the number of verses in the chapter. Each of the 63,779 cross references found in the Bible is depicted by a single arc - the color corresponds to the distance between the two chapters, creating a rainbow-like effect. This infographic is the bridging of the Old and New Testaments. It spans where the paper changes from the Old Testament’s uncoated, to the New Testament’s coated paper. I know it sounds geeky but it’s been strategically placed so the reader can experience the shift between testaments and between prophecy and fulfillment. Even if it was your first encounter with the Bible, your fingers would feel the change. The top half, purposefully placed to represent God’s heavenly nature, shows those things that God is, and we are not. And so God’s character is placed at the bottom—this shows his attributes that we can develop on earth.
