This scanner does cover most of the models built after year 2000, that do not require a 38 pin connector. Here are the models that it works with: Purely because OBD is only looking at a handful of codes, which vary from Car Manufacturer to Car Manufacturer, it all depends what they deem as "Emission Related".......... I've seen OBD which couldn't pull an Air Flow Meter Code on some CarsCertain functions may be limited from the vehicle manufacturer due to the requirement of a special factory access code. Experienced operator with SDS will take you to the seat, make you a Coffee and Hotdog, take you to Toilet, wipe your @rse, talk you through the Game, and then drive you home afterwards !! Reads VIN then the dreaded notice 'unidentified' Tried several up dates but still the same. Problem is now with Icarsoft in the states. Save your money until all the bugs have been ironed out or buy star.

While there is room for improvement, at this price range this may be the best scanner you could own for your specific vehicle. A lot of manufacturers were using second hand or very bad quality relays, which made the Mux un reliable, a lot of them plain didn't work outta the box :frown Genuine NEC Relays are the "good guys" circuit boards. I/M Readiness Test| Indicate whether or not the various emissions-related systems on the vehicle are operating properly and are ready for Inspection and Maintenance testing.I'm glad someone has had some success with it. Perhaps its the the software used for the 447 Bluetec. But icarsoft claims it does work. Anyone else used the MB V3 on a 447 Bluetec? Would be good to hear what works and what dosn't
Disappointed with the iCarsoft, i980, as the main reason for purchasing was to identify these levels. Body Stability (BCM)| Function supports routine maintenance of DSC modules, for example reset or delete the adaptation values and start-up the unit. Looking for advice on this iCarsoft MB V3.0 - maybe I'm probably missing something obvious in the procedure.
