Hydromol Intensive comes in tubes of 30g (grams) and 100g. A 30g tube of Hydromol Intensive contains 3g of urea and a 100g tube contains 10g of urea. Some people experience local irritation when they apply Hydromol Intensive. If you notice this or any other unusual effect, tell your doctor.

Emollients 13.2.1 Emollients

If you are using medicines which are also to be applied to the skin you should talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Hydromol Cream as it might not be suitable to apply other topical preparations at the same time. Cetomacrogol emulsifying wax (contains cetostearyl alcohol and macrogol cetostearyl ether), yellow soft paraffin and liquid paraffin. Hydromol Bath & Shower Emollient works in two ways. First, it replaces traditional soaps, shower gels and bubble baths, all of which contain detergents which can irritate dry or damaged skin. 5,6 Apply Hydromol Cream/Hydromol Ointment as often as possible, at least 3 – 4 times a day. Hydromol Intensive can be used twice daily.

Hydromol Ointment is intended to be used liberally, as required, for the management of eczema, psoriasis and other dry skin conditions.
