About this deal

Although I can no longer choose the channels using the router UI, I can use LTEWatch or huaCtrl to do that." it's good to know. I think we can live with it Hold WPS-knappen nede i to til fem sekunder for at konfigurere en 2,4 GHz WPS-forbindelse, eller hold WPS-knappen på routeren nede i over fem sekunder for at konfigurere en 5 GHz WPS-forbindelse. Maximum size for each attachment is 10MB (rar,jpg,zip,pdf,war,txt,docx,doc,png,mp3,mp4,xls,xlsx,gif,jpeg are supported).

That’s not bad, but you’ll still need a SIM card and allowances to go with it, meaning there will be a monthly price too. Although I can no longer choose the channels using the router UI, I can use LTEWatch or huaCtrl to do that.

2. Create new data connection

It was very easy and probably took no more than 30 minutes, just used a flat screwdriver to bridge the points to enable the usb firmware mode. I don't know the routers but could it just be that one has a better antenna setup than the other and so gets a stronger signal? I was planning to sign up for the business deal, which is a few pounds cheaper per month, but needed far too much paperwork. That had no inclusive minutes or texts. He did mention 90cm between the two routers on the window ledge. That could well cause a difference. The ISP (or mobile operators in this case) are modding the soft from something. I thought it was the default soft...Thanks for all the help & advice everyone has given - unfortunately I'm still not able to get the B525 to connect at 4G+ but my B535 connects to the same Cell ID at 4G+ everytime. All things considered, the Huawei B535 is a very solid 4G home broadband router. If that’s all you’re after then it’s competitive with devices from EE and Vodafone, but no match for the new Three 4G Hub. The Huawei B525 supports 4G and 3G networks, with LTE being the standard for 4G connectivity. This allows users to enjoy high-speed internet access and smooth online experiences. My current setup uses this, teamed with a Virgin 350Mb connection. There's a slight overall speed increase, but it's the failover aspect which I was interested in and it works brilliantly. I've now recently acquired a B535-232 from Three and noticed that the B535 connects to their network at LTE+ speed, but the B525 (in the same position as the B535 and with an identical Three SIM) only connects at LTE speed.
