The “Fantastic Rotation” mode works a little like Inception mode, except that it randomly rotates the camera in one direction or the other, changing to the beat of some music. First and foremost is the vertical movement (tilt); you’ll see this displayed in the sample footage. Somewhat counterintuitively, the record button takes a photo when you press it once. To actually start or stop recording video, you need to press it twice. Pressing it three times will switch between your phone’s front and rear camera. There are some filters and pre-programed gimbal movements too, the most vaunted of which is the ‘inception effect’ but the smooth pan might be more useful. Since it doesn’t complicate the app (they’re well organized), it’s hard to complain about more features.Using the gimbal just as dumb pan/follow gimbal device worked well – but this isn’t much of a struggle for gimbals these days.
