Halloween’ Trilogy Gets New 4K David Gordon Green’s ‘Halloween’ Trilogy Gets New 4K

The most acclaimed and revered horror franchise in film history reaches its epic, terrifying conclusion as Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) faces off for the last time against the embodiment of evil, Michael Myers. Michael hasn't been seen for four years after the events of Halloween Kills. Laurie lives with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and has chosen to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. When a young man is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, a cascade of violence and terror is ignited with a final confrontation between Laurie and Michael unlike any ever captured on screen. Only one of them will survive. story of a relatively good guy who makes a mistake, is outcast, and goes bad is not terribly novel, and the film cannot find much of a significant,Language And Audio: English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround / English DVS (Descriptive Video Services) / French Canadian Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround / Latin Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround It is Halloween once again in Haddonfield, Illinois. Michael is still out there, and he's primed to strike. Unless someone beats him to the punch.

Final Girl –The iconic Jamie Lee Curtis discusses the legacy of Laurie Strode and what playing the character has meant to her. This Blu-ray release of Halloween Ends includes a quality assortment of bonuses. A DVD copy of the film and a Movies Anywhere digital copy Well, on revisiting Halloween Ends now on 4K disc, it’s clear that that initial reaction was not quite true. Were Halloween Ends the middle part of this particular trilogy or a standalone instalment, you'd write it off as an interesting, if unsuccessful, attempt at something new. But the movie's position as the culmination of the franchise exacerbates its failures as it's not only not giving you what you expected, it hasn't replaced it with something compelling either. Halloween Ends ends up looking very good on Blu-ray. The 1080p transfer is solid top to bottom, with the only eyesore some source noise that

To be fair - I didn’t hate Halloween Ends. I do not think this is the worst film of the franchise. I actually thought the character of Corey was a genuinely brilliant addition to the franchise. I thought that Laurie Strode masking her pain by trying to be “tits-out” domestic grandma was a smart avenue for her character as she and Allyson cope with their loss. I loved all of this stuff because it felt real and emotionally raw and was actually a smart path to take for a franchise riddled with stupidity. My problem with Halloween Ends is this was the exact wrong time to pull this particular story card.

She's living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and writing her memoir, choosing to embrace life rather than live in fear. The town of Haddonfield can't move on though and with the boogeyman nowhere to be found, their new pariah is Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell). The latest TV spot for the final movie in the reboot trilogy is released. It features the iconic score and the line; 'This time, it will be different' delivered by Jamie Lee Curtis. ( Source: Screen Rant) Through it all, Jamie Lee Curtis still captivates at Laurie and gets to show off something different to the rage-fuelled Laurie of the previous two movies. She even gets to be happy for one brief moment (a rarity for her throughout the entire Halloween franchise), but when the time comes for her to get violent and deliver a one-liner, she's as good as ever. However, Shane isn't just a movie guy. He also loves video games. Super Mario Sunshine, The Last of Us Part 1 and 2, and Batman: Arkham City are some of his favorites. Music plays a big part in his life as well. Given that Shane's a big horror fan, you might be surprised to learn that he's a pop guy. Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa, The Jonas Brothers, and Demi Lovato play on repeat while he's writing. This is a very different Halloween film from the two that came before. It’s more cerebral (or at least it thinks it is), and much more character focused than previous entries. But the character that gets the most care and attention, Corey, was introduced far too late in this franchise sub-trilogy. I felt Rohan Campbell delivered one hell of a performance here. When we first meet him, he’s likable and funny, and you feel for him when his life goes so bad. But he needed to have been introduced in Halloween (2018)- not two movies later. Most of his transformation would have been a great way to spend Halloween Kills instead of waiting for the next obnoxious chant of “ EVIL DIES TONIGHT.” the movie is so disappointing its unreal....Fans of Micheal going on a Killing spree will feel very let down.Language And Audio: English Dolby Atmos / English DVS (Descriptive Video Services) / French Canadian Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround / Latin Spanish Dolby Digital Plus 7.1 stable, clear, and nicely detailed picture throughout, even in the pervasive low light.
