I could have gone into the whole spiel about upgrading the power supply and peak power versus average continuous power but I really didn’t think it would be that interesting to read for most and that those that know amps would already be familiar with what the rating meant. Reply I’ve thought a lot about how to discuss the sound of the Fosi as I think it appeals to two audiences, people who are just getting into this hifi hobby and want something cheap to start building a system with and then there are people who are like me who’ve been listening to audio their entire life and are curious how this could possibly sound good for such a cheap price. Really, the only occasion we would suggest buying this amp is if it was on sale and better options were sold out.

I found the slogan on this box, Hifi Made Fun, kind of ironic because too me, the Fosi wasn’t really that much fun. Its a much smaller box than the A07 Pro - so heat might be a problem if played loud for a long time - I imagine if op-amps are swap maybe some extra vents would be drilled into case You could say it’s fun because the cheap price allows new buyers to get interested in the hifi hobby. That’s why I think people building their first stereo system or someone who wants an inexpensive second system will find the Fosi fun. Anyway, I hope this shows what I think is the big advantage of well implemented tone controls in an amp and the ability to blend the Sub output to provide some level of tweaking the sound to your tastes.
Make sure that the distance between your device and BT20A is not too long, close your device to BT20A to have a try. realise the Chinese audience probably loves Bluetooth and so there doesnt seem to be an easy or cheap way to switch inputs from BT to aux Make sure there are no obstacles between your device and BT20A, obstacles will affect the Bluetooth operation distance.
The amp has three knobs on the front which allows you to adjust treble and bass as well as the volume. There is a metal switch that powers the unit on/off with a very small red light letting you know when the amp is powered on and blue light when bluetooth is connected. Next, we have an entire bunch of inexpensive amplifiers coming from under the same roof. They really go close to each other, especially considering their prices. On the other hand all of them have distinctive features that make them serve same purposes, but with different flavors. Fosi Audio BT30A is a mini amp that can probably go first, because it shows a good balance between power and frequency. Fosi Audio BT30A gives 50 watts per channel, which is pretty good for a small unit like that plus a 100 watt for a subwoofer channel. It only weighs less than 2 pounds and small in size, so it can fit on a desk or a shelf with no issue. It can also be moved around easily, because protected by durable aluminum casing. But I wouldn’t buy this for critical listening. All of the exciting musicality you hear with other amps, even budget Class A/B models like I mentioned above, simply isn’t present in this budget Class D amp. Should You Buy The Fosi BT20A Amplifier?
To compare the sound differences between both audio amplifiers, I connected each amp into my One Little Audio Bear audio switch and streamed via Bluetooth to both using Tidal on my iPad. I would say you might buy this because it’s small and cheap and can fit almost anywhere. It would be a good enough unit to use as a secondary system in a small room or even in a garage workshop where you don’t mind it getting dirty. Well, I’ve spent the last month listening to this amp and have really wrestled with how to present this review as I think this amp might work for some people and others might find it rather boring.

I mean I have no doubt its perfectly up to powering anything a similar class AB with similar (real world) wattage would so its fine, its just annoying marketing that they don’t need to be doing. bluetooth audio though, by using an external LDAC bluetooth receiver, which is probably cheaper than buying Step 2: Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone and search“Fosi Audio BT20A”, after connecting toBT20A, the indicator light shows blue light.
