No one gets this big without amazing natural storytelling talent - which is what Jim has, in spades. The Alex Cross series proves it ' Lee Child James Patterson is the best selling American author of many thriller novels. Extremely popular worldwide, James Patterson has sold over 230 million books. He is known for writing captivating stories with a twist that his fans cannot get enough of. From Alex Cross to the Women’s Murder Club series, Patterson has been writing gripping fiction since 1976. He also writes romance stories and non-fiction. Patterson was born March 22, 1947 in Newburgh, New York. He majored in English and graduated from Manhattan College with a Bachelor’s Degree and went on to a Master of Arts from Vanderbilt University, graduating both summa cum laude. It's no mystery why James Patterson is the world's most popular thriller writer ... Simply put: Nobody does it better. JEFFERY DEAVER From start to finish this is a rollercoaster of a ride. Going from Washington to Paris, Mexico to Montana the pace never lets up. In Along Came A Spider, Alex Cross is called in to investigate a case with two dead prostitutes and a baby. Not shortly after, Cross finds he has to contend with psychotic math teacher Gary Soneji. Soneji has kidnapped two children and Cross is pulled off the homicide to cover the kidnapping. Soneji strikes again and murders an FBI Agent who has been talking about Soneji on television. Cross scours the apartment and discovers Soneji’s obsession with the kidnappings and his dream of becoming famous as a criminal. What follows is an elaborate game as Soneji’s personality is unraveled and the mission to retrieve the children plays out.

Recently the franchise was rebooted in the 2012 movie, Alex Cross. Starring Tyler Perry as the James Patterson protagonist, Alex Cross must pursue military-trained assassin turned murderer Picasso(Matthew Fox) as they play an elaborate game of cat and mouse. A sequel based on Double Cross was in discussion in 2012. [6] [7] [8] Perry was confirmed to reprise his role. [9] However, the film was cancelled after Alex Cross did not perform well at the box office. Mr Patterson is one of the finest writers of his generation, in my opinion. He manages to weave three stories into one in this novel. Well plotted, with less of the detective side, and more of the action side. The book is well written but I would have preferred to have seen more resolution of the forces at play.Alex Cross book 29, seriously how did that happen>? Alex and Sampson are characters that I love and have no hesitancy to read about. You know with James Patterson books what you are going to get and Fear No Evil was all of it and more. In a week where I just needed come comfort reading, I got it with this book. He is one of my all time favourite authors and I almost read it in one sitting - damn having to get up for work the next day. However on the plus side I very much enjoyed The Horsewoman The Jailhouse Lawyer 2 Sisters Detective Agency The President is Missing and The Pesidents Daughter to name but a few! Reply

Reply Dr. Alex Cross and Detective John Sampson venture into the rugged Montana wilderness—where they will be the prey. Fear No Evil is classic Alex Cross. The story unravels rapidly, the action is high octane and intense but love, family and unity remain at the heart of it all. The mystery of 'M' continues, and I was absolutely enthralled and intrigued as more was unveiled,

Well worth reading for the storyline and characterisations, and a couple of the chapter-hooks are brilliant. Nana Mama, the matriarch of the Cross family. She is Cross's grandmother that took him in when he was 10, since both his parents had died. She is currently entering her 90s, having nearly died in I, Alex Cross and adopting a young girl named Ava in Kill Alex Cross. She is described as a very "old woman", but tough for her age. She is also described by Alex as "stubborn". She usually argues with Alex over several things thus Alex dumbs her as "old woman" and "stubborn". She approves of Alex's new wife, Bree Stone, and considers her to be a daughter to her. Nana was once married to Alex's grandfather, who she was deeply in love with. Once he died, Nana never married again or dated, as it was mentioned in Four Blind Mice. She is also known for always having the last word against Alex. Caught in a web of assassins, Alex Cross enters the final battle with the all-knowing genius who has stalked him and his family for years. Dr. Alex Cross and Detective John Sampson venture into the rugged Montana wilderness—where they will be the prey.

Come the end of the year, come Alex Cross, the much-loved protagonist created by James Patterson and the only series he still writes solo. Throughout the rest of the year, James Patterson‘s releases are all about collaborations, where the co-writers touch or style contributes to the eventual outcome. Similarly, this series is completely James Patterson and the series reflects that as well. Alex Cross and his lovable family comprising of Nana Mama (Alex’s 90-year-old grandmother and the matriarch of the family), his wife Bree, sons Damon and Ali, and daughter Jannie. Each with their colorful shares in the progress of the series. James Patterson is always at his best when writing by himself in my humble opinion, (although I am looking forward to his upcoming book with Dolly Parton!) and this latest brutal and pacy thriller has the usual characters and elements that his readers have grown to love.As listed above it’s part of the David Shelley series. Unfortunately, as of this time there is only the one book in that series. Reply Fox, Jesse (18 October 2012). "An Alex Cross Sequel Is Already in the Works". Vulture . Retrieved October 18, 2012. I think your writing style draws people from 6yrs to 106 yrs to reading. I read an average of220 books a yr. Although this book is part of a long running series I found it easy to read and the story flowed with just enough mention of previous happenings

All across the USA, people are showing up dead. The deaths don't appear to be connected in any way until one particular death occurs and gets the Secretary of Defense's attention. He arranges for a task force to investigate. Have been reading your wonderful books for years, have read a couple twice, may you carry on writing for years to come if only to help your brother Andrew, please stay well ReplyThe earlier novels were initially named after children's rhymes, but from 2006 the lead character's name started appearing in the titles. [1] As always the thrill and darkness of death and evil is tempered by the beautiful Cross family and Nana mama's cooking. James please stay away from romance ,mills and boon you are not nor do you do 50 shades of grey in a bookshot, this is not your forte
