The fragrance Versace Eros was for a while my number one fragrance, it smells very fresh and gives an atmosphere of the sea. It is a very pleasant fragrance, which you can use in everyday life. It goes with any outfit, be it sporty, elegant or at the gym. It adheres well to clothing, you can still smell it after a few hours.

Hey Charles, I want a fragrance to wear in school and i am going to turn 17 this year, Would you still recommend Versace Eros over JPG Ultra male and Dylan blue? I also live in Sweden where it is like cool 90% of the time. And it is 77 fahrenheit at best in the summer but 95% of the time it is below 68 Fahrenheit. Hey again Charles, I’m looking for a new fragrance and since you helped me with Jpg witch I was happy with, I’m here again asking for your help, so I’m wondering what i should I try this time. I liked the JPG and got compliments but I want to try something new do you have any recommendations? I’m thinking about Versace Eros but is there anything better out there? I believe that Versace Eros offers the best value for money thanks to its lower price and versatility. However, JPG Ultra Male and Dylan Blue are great fragrances too. It depends on when and wear you plan to wear them.

Just giving you some alternative ideas! But JPG Ultra Male is still an excellent choice! As for Dylan Blue, it’s good and it was a favourite of Paul (our founder) when he was your age. However, I’m not sure how well it’s aged. Yes, I recall that you live in Sweden. Eros would work, it’s sweet and fresh with excellent performance. Another option is Azzaro Wanted, which is woody but has a sweet bubblegum component. Given that winter is around the corner, I’d be personally more inclined to go with a warm, gourmand, and balsamic spicy fragrance. Azzaro Wanted isn’t bad in that respect but Carolina Herrera CH Men Privé is better. You’re the boss in what you wear, though. In my review, I did highlight that it would actually be perfect for school! However, if you are worried about the sweetness, how about Mugler Alien Man? I bought my son both this and JPG Ultra Male. He has a few other fragrances but these are his favourites. When my boyfriend uses it, I feel very attracted to him... it smells sexy and seductive. I think that Versace Eros could work for someone in their mid-thirties. However, I’d be more inclined to recommend Chanel Allure Sport instead. It’s much more effective, very long lasting and ideal as a casual (yet elegant) fragrance for men of our age. However, it’s quite pricey so I’m not sure if that’s okay for you. What sets Alien Man apart is its versatile seasonality. It’s not a good summer fragrance but if I understand correctly, that’s not what you’re looking for. Meanwhile, it works really well during spring, autumn, and winter! From everything you’ve told me so far, this might be an excellent choice to fit your needs. What makes Eros a somewhat exceptional fragrance is that it performs valiantly throughout the year. Despite just a minor dip during summer due to some heavier oriental notes, it features a character that is compatible in all seasons. You make a good point. 25°C is fine for Eros as is 20°C. Bear in mind that Eros is great throughout the year whereas Ultra Male is more an autumn and winter fragrance. That being said, Ultra Male might fare better for a longer period of the year in Sweden. I own this fragrance now for quite some time in my perfume collection and although I have so many more expensive perfumes, I just keep reaching for this fragrance one needs If worn in moderation, I think it would be ok for summer office wear. However, it might come on as a little strong during those winter months. Otherwise, it’s perfect for all-year casual wear. Both the tonka bean and ambroxan persist as we journey into the base. Sweet and sensual vanilla is accompanied by warm vetiver whilst being contrasted against fresh cedar and oak moss. Versace officially claim that there are notes of both Atlas and Virginia cedar in the base. However, this is somewhat contrived and hard to distinguish with all the other various notes. Hey Charles, I have heard that fresh colognes are not good in the winter and when it’s cold so it Dylan Blue still an option? Also if we ignore how much Eros and Ultra male cost which one would you think would fit me if we think about my age and how cold it is up here in Sweden. Also i would use the perfumes for the school and when i go out with friends. Because at the moment the two fragrances i am thinking about is Eros and Ultra male. However, it proved to be far more popular among younger generations such as men and women around their mid-twenties. Whilst it was still enjoyed by men and women in their thirties, it was to a lesser extent.
