About this deal

Episodes 56 mins ago Bangers & Cash: Restoring Classics: Episode 4 (Yesterday Thursday 2 November 2023)

Hot face-smushing action! He moans about how he loves her, even though he could never even consider marrying her. How…sweet? Here, he consoles her for having given up the bairn in exchange for the commute of a sentence for her younger sister. She stole something, whatever.

Ok, it seems there are many contradictions regarding the plot of this story and personally, I feel, this is as a result of many who had watched the mini-series believing the novel is accurate to the tv/movie adaptation, which it is not. Cissie ends up having the baby (at the very same time as Matthew’s wedding reception – SYMBOLISM), and it survives. And man, is Daddy Fischel surprised when she doesn’t want to sell her kid! You get thirty minutes of this:

Episodes 56 mins ago The Art of Film with Ian Nathan: The Magic of Ealing Studios (Sky Arts Thursday 2 November 2023) Episodes 56 mins ago Ireland’s Most Evil Killers: Charlotte And Linda Mulhall (Sky Crime Thursday 2 November 2023) They have friends, but charity cannot always spare them the harsh reality of their struggle and when Cissie attracts the unwanted attentions of a local landowner, her world seems close to collapse. Kids growing up/acting up? - Yes Kids: - struggling to earn a living to survive Is this an adult or child's book? - Adult or Young Adult Book I thought it was well written tale of a woman (by the end of the novel is much older unlike in the movie) of strength and impeccable character who overcomes ALL obstacles. One of the funniest things about this miniseries is that everyone else you meet in the entire thing thinks it’s a stupid idea to live in a cave. The priest is like, “…a cave, really?” and the guy who’s clearing out the furniture from the hovel actually lets them take all the furniture into the cave, because he’s like, “…a cave, really?” In 1830’s Northumberland 16 year old Cissie Brodie is forced to bring up her five younger siblings alone following the death of their parents. The characters of Isabel and Clive were so stereotypical that it was laughable - she was the evil witch and he was the weak-kneed pretty boy with not one ounce of courage. Ray took the role of Graham Braithwaite in At Home with the Braithwaites, the hugely successful drama series about a lottery winner starring Amanda Redman. He went on to appear in a huge range of TV dramas, including the BAFTA-nominated Band of Gold and Peak Practice*. He took a lead alongside Paul Nicholls in the police drama City Central. He's also guest-starred in popular shows such as Waking the Dead, Dalziel and Pascoe, and Murphy's Law.
