It’s an interesting mix, as she’s determined and motivated, but she’s also basically programmed to doubt what is real and therefore can hardly make any forward progress. She’s essentially her own unreliable narrator.

Right so i love really gory and bloody books and some of the recommendations down below say some are 'twisted' i'm guessing 'twisted' is dark and i'm not that old so should i just go or 'horror' not 'extreme horror' books?
