About this deal

I’ve spent forty minutes trying to sort out my feelings for this book and am beginning to get creeped out by the silence of my house. I’m not always that great at expressing myself, but I hoped I managed to convey my absolute adoration for this book!

Hey!! what was aminas coded message? It was quite hard to see as I listend to it on audible i didnt read it!! love to know!!Congratualtions on an amazing wonderful book to read which makes me laugh and feel sad!! you are the best author ever!! I love how you did about the sleepwalking. A bit through the case nearing the end when they had a discussion and ruled Heppy out I was a bit like omg… I am not stupid after all… I am a good detective… How do they know heppy was sleepwalking. Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong have set off on a trip to Egypt courtesy of fellow Deepdean girl Amina El-Maghrabi (who Daisy may possibly have a crush on) who has invited them to stay with her family in Cairo. Better still, Hazel’s father has offered to take them on a Nile cruise afterwards, with Hazel’s sisters May and Rose in tow. Hiii I loved this series so much and I just wanted to help out! I personally think that Daisy would have told George, Alexander, May, Amina, Bertie, Hazel, Lavinia, Beanie and Kitty! Also, the secret code read; DAISY I’LL WAIT so that was very sweet, I just wanted to say I loved this so much and I’ll be sad to let the girls go but I can’t wait for more about May, I would love for spin offs on The Detective Society members and The Junior Pinkertons later adventures and the reactions that she’s still alive!! I cried so much during this book!! I love it! You’ll be able to read all about that in Ministry, Gautami! And in MUA May will start off in England but then move around, just the way Hazel and Daisy do in MMU! Is anyone else going CRAZY with happiness that May Wong will get her own series? She so deserves it and is definitely my new favourite character!!!!

Earlier this month, it was announced that May Wong would be front-and-centre in a linked series, The Ministry of Unladylike Activity. There’s still a little while to go until the first book in the series hits shelves in August 2022, but the author did share a bit about what fans can expect. yes i thought it was unfair as she was daisys friend and well crush I guess? I hope daisy and amina can meet up in the future again. I hope for maybe 2 small mysteries where daisy and amina meet upo in one of them. Like 2 short mysteries when daisy and hazel are spies? The excellent fact is that you were born, and that means that you have the chance to make the world a slightly less horrid place. You mustn’t think of all the people who’ve died. Remember all the people who never got murdered because you caught their killers. Well - you and me. Mostly me. But, of course, also you."

I agree so much! May will be an excellent detective, that much was clear from Death Sets Sail! Countdown to 2022 begins! This article needs additional citations for verification. Please help improve this article by adding citations to reliable sources. Unsourced material may be challenged and removed. I had to read the last part of the book just as I woke up the next morning so I could cry in private when Daisy died!! right?? I have to agree 1 am posts are the best. I also got the murder with a bit of help as I thought why didnt they think heppy did not sleep walk because she might not of. I agree I love th ewong family and how they were portrayed in DSS. I loved the relationships going throught the story as well as Lavinia and George deciding to marry within minutes and then saying to drop out of school and go somewhere i cant remember what

It’s another Bookwagon day in our house. The kids were so excited to get their latest books in the post. Daisy has (presumably) long, wavy golden hair that is often tied in a plait/plaits for school. She is described as being very tall and has a thin body. Her eyes are determined-looking and blue. She is known to be very pretty. Hazel says that she looks perfectly English. Daisy is the youngest child and only daughter of George and Margaret Wells. She has an older brother called Bertie, who calls her Squashy since she (supposedly) was a fat baby. He once attempted to push her down the stairs. Death Sets Sail is the ninth and final book in the Murder Most Unladylike series. It is written by Robin Stevens. The story takes place on the Nile.

Aunt Lucy’s really nice too – in Arsenic for tea she seems mean, but as soon as she marries Uncle Felix, I feel like she finally shows Daisy and Hazel her nice side. I did guess that the murderer might be Heppy, but as I read it I was convinced otherwise. I was really suprised when it turned out to be her! And Daisy saving May was brilliant, although it was so sad when Heppy pulled her over the side of the boat (even though I didn’t quite believe she was really dead). I loved that we got to see Rose wanting to be heroic to save her little sister at that point too, because I really liked her in ASOM, and she really does care, even though she isn’t a detective like the others. It’s so sweet that she was trying to protect their dad! There’s a bit where they say like, the one bad thing about growing up is you can't hide under tables anymore. So, they can’t sneak around the way they could when they were little kids and their detecting methods would have to change as they got older and older. And so I thought this is probably the right time to say goodbye to this this chapter and and finish the series.”

I came home from my holiday as well to find my signed copy of DSS was waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some of the pitchers on the book had kinda melted as the book was left in my porch!!!!!!!!!!! ??? Same! At the start of the series I wanted daisy and hazel to get together but when Alexander was introduced I realised that wouldn’t work. Also after seeing daisy and Amina together I found them a great couple.Don’t worry – this mystery doesn’t connect to A Spoonful of Murder, so you can play whether or not you’ve read the book yet. This is amazing, Robin! DSS is completely deserving of this, it’s so clever and exciting! This is no surprise as the books really are SO good! I’ve been reading and re-reading my copy ever since I got it, and there is absolutely no doubt that Daisy and Hazel’s final book went out with a bang. Congratulations! Wow this is amazing?!! I am so excited to begin reading Death Sets Sail but also really sad because its the last one ?. I am really going to miss the characters but am definitely going to continue rereading all of the books. Thank you so much for creating my favourite book series!! This was by far my favourite MMU book in the series. I loved the diversity of the plot and it’s characters. I loved that the girls had their first kisses in this one (it was about time) and I really think that it was an awesome finale to an awsome series. I really think differently of Daisy in this book: throughout the series I have really thought of Daisy as being a little bit selfish and ungrateful of the friends she has but when she gave her life for May, my whole perspective changed. This was definitely a complex case but as soon as you mentioned the wire, it fell into place. Can’t wait for MUA and for May to return because after what she has done in DSS I can really see her being a spy.
