About this deal
Once your cooler is installed to your motherboard, it is time to connect the fans and pump to the iCUE Commander CORE. On the 2nd USB Lighting Node I just have the 2 QL 140mm Fans lighting wires connected, because I have the Fans powered by the NZXT Z63 and I can control the RPM through NZXT CAM. I'm plotting out a Hydro X build. My understanding is that if the XD5 pump speed cable is connected to the fan #6 header on a Commander Pro, it can then use the special Hydro X curve functionality in iCUE. Is this also possible with the Commander XT?
Commander PRO or commander core XT - Corsair Community Commander PRO or commander core XT - Corsair Community
Thanks Zotty, I'm interested on maximum current and how many fans that we can plug into this commander core with splitters. When you say "buying another", are you referring to another ELITE CAPELLIX or buying the iCUE COMMANDER CORE XT detailed in this topic? Hi all, I'm new and made the mistake of buying the 570X mirror case, now I have all Corsair RGB components ( plus few other brand ) 🙂El pequeño chip donde van conectadas las tiras de la caja se encarga de gestionarla o solo es un hub? The led strips of the box and the remaining 4 QL120 fans to the Commander XT that comes with the box. But I also go beyond the 264 leds (34x4=136 + 160 = 296 leds).
HOW TO SET UP CORSAIR iCUE COMMANDER CORE XT
You can connect them to the RGB side of the Commander Core, but you will need to use the MB or another fan controller for the SP-Pro. As stated above, they are DC motors (3 pin connector) and controlled by voltage. The Commander Core is a PWM controller and keep the voltage at 12v all the time. This will make those fans run at 1700 rpm all the time with no fan speed control. Commander PRO achieves zero RPM via DC/voltage control - so in this case, it is turning off your LL or QL fans even though they do not support zero RPM.Firmware can be thought of as the operating system of a device. Updating firmware can help improve device performance or deal with bugs that may pop up. You can use iCUE to help keep the firmware of your devices up to date. I really really don't know what else to do, I could try making a clean install of the operative system
