From birth through to 12 years of age (or when the child reaches 135 cm in height), parents will be required by UK law to choose the appropriate seat either based on their child's weight or height, rather than their age. At Maxi-Cosi, we always recommend using an ISOFIX base to install your baby car seat. It minimises the risk of incorrect installation and provides a solid connection to your car. Don’t worry if you don’t have ISOFIX anchors in your car, installation with a belt is just as safe if you follow the instructions included in the manual.
