About this deal

A survey of more than 12,000 LGBTQ teens around the country released in 2018 by the Human Rights Campaign found that 67% report they’ve heard family members make negative comments about LGBTQ people. In spite of this situation, we are going to look at inventive ways to look at serving our readership with digital content and of course in print too! Prism Health is committed to offering safe, compassionate, and affirming primary and mental health care to all members of the LGBTQ+ community."

PHOENIX (AP) — The first study of its kind found that people who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer or gender non-confirming are nearly four times as likely to be victims of violent crime than those outside such communities. Crimes: manslaughter (literally every part), organized crime themes (part 5), animal abuse (part 1 & 3 if I remember correctly), grooming (I think?? In part 6???) AI, Ain't I A Woman?" On the Blindness and Limitations of Artificial Intelligence November 1, 2023 by Joy Buolamwini It has EVERYTHING and a million different ways for members of the community to express their love for our community and admiration for our elders’ strength and perseverance.Let’s be clear here and point out this is true in fiction: movies and books. Sometimes risk-takers are fun to watch and read about. Sometimes the orchestration of the crime feels so intricately planned I’d be disappointed when their plan is thwarted. Sometimes the rich asshole at the top tamping his foot down on the rest of society deserves a loss and a little bit of revenge. It was a bit sad that with all the excellent personal narratives, there was only one intersex story and it was a purely educational one with interviews (generally if you pay attention to intersex activism - and you do, right?! right?! -, you probably heard all that from the original people who made those arguments). I felt this could have been commissioned better: reach out to those activists and pair them with artists to let them tell their own stories. That could also be a whole anthology :)

BE GAY, DO CRIME! | Osees, UK Gold, Gen Pop, The Primitives BE GAY, DO CRIME! | Osees, UK Gold, Gen Pop, The Primitives

It's hard to speak about an anthology like this in a cohesive way, because they are all so different: in art style, tone, topic, and identity. Overall, I really enjoyed it. Although as always there were some comics I liked more than others, there weren't any that I felt were weak. It's a great opportunity to be exposed to a lot of different artists as well. This is one I would happily recommend. It's not focused specifically on lesbians and bi women, but there is definitely sapphic representation. I'm happy to see that queer anthologies are expanding to be a little more challenging and diverse than they were just a handful of years ago. The gag strips are mostly unfunny. Some of the historical comics and the ones abt other countries are decent but some of them are quite dry. Three days later, the Tumblr [2] account queergraffiti featured the photograph, which received more than 58,000 notes in three years.Amid those unprecedented gains, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern also appointed the country’s first deputy PM, longtime ally Grant Robertson. But that seeming availability of sex work is why all women, I think, feel free to speculate on sex work and that’s also why people get uncomfortable with sex work, because it reveals, though sex is supposed to be this unexplainable specter, it’s always also economic. Maybe it’s triggering for women because everyone does these calculations and it’s scary what you have to face within yourself.

Be Gay, Do Crime’ season – here are BFI Southbank launches ‘Be Gay, Do Crime’ season – here are

Gay people on the run?? Dystopian setting?? Yeah, it's decent, don't think I'd like it now but as a teen I ate that shit up. Rachel: On “Be Gay Do Crimes” though, and I guess while we’re on cops, makes me think of “More Lana than Lana,” which is the title of a poem in Porn Carnival, if we’re going to indulge more in “self-talking of our own consciousness,” and the trope of the bad-bad girl. First published in 1947, Varsity is the independent student newspaper for the University of Cambridge. She said maybe that’s because she has a tight set of rules when it comes to what makes a Gurlesque poem… of course I was like “well, what are they!” and she said:Rachel : Yeah, we’re a post-Gurlesque period. And yeah, the “Gurlesque,” a term Arielle Greenberg coined in 1999, sitting in her kitchen (maybe she was in grad school then? She went on to work in academia) after noticing a trend in poetry by women but also in music, in film-making. As Sandra said, it was very white, it was also pretty hetero-centric, and I think, with many more traditionally “academic poets” in the anthology, there are maybe class dimensions that also went into the Gurlesque—that makes sense why it was a sort of “feminist” poetry that when it was about sex wasn’t about economics, maybe more about objectification. Rachel: So I recently was able to interview Arielle Greenberg for the Poetry Foundation, who edited the Gurlesque anthology and coined the term. I asked her how the Gurlesque informed her own work, how she’s seen it seep into her own poems and she said it hasn’t. Fun collection of short, mostly nonfiction comics about various aspects of queer identity. All previously published by The Nib. Individuals or institutions which support or fund LGBT rights' activities or organisations, or publish, broadcast and distribute pro-gay media material and literature, also face prosecution and imprisonment After I read it, he immediately opened YouTube and found Krystle Cole, the infamous Krystle Cole! It was almost sacrilegious to me seeing her, but then she was as magical, as perfect as I could’ve imagined. There’s something about loving something so much that you want to leave it unconsumed. It’s that fear of exhausting your satiety. Fear of the edible. Of losing what you have.
