About this deal

That often unavoidable offset is really not a big deal, I'd say to give them a chance despite it, they are wonderful sets" Car lovers can experience a rewarding build before proudly displaying this collectible toy car or recreating epic racing scenes from the movieThis buildable LEGO Speed Champions Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) replica model car building kit (76917) has been inspired by the iconic car from the explosive 2 Fast 2 Furious movie. Kids aged 9+, car lovers and fans of the popular movie franchise can experience a rewarding build before proudly displaying this collectible toy car or recreating fast-paced street racing scenes. Seems kind of plain at first blush, but SC does have a way of making even the relatively unexciting entries very satisfying to build in reality. I like the rear lights here a lot, though it's a shame that the biggest misses are concentrated towards the front on this one. I didn't even notice until you mentioned it! Still, I think it looks good. And since it's LEGO it's okay, I think." This set marks the second time the Fast and Furious franchise has been represented in a LEGO set. The original was 76912: Fast & Furious 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, which appeared earlier this year and featured Dominic Toretto.

A bundle including this set was available in a VIP Sweepstake from April 1st through June 1st, 2023, for 50 VIP points per entry with a maximum of 50 entries. There’s an exclusive Brian O’Conner minifigure in 76917 2 Fast 2 Furious Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) and its single expression is a good match to the Fast & Furious character, with suitably wavy hair to boot. As in the film, the clothing doesn’t give the LEGO Speed Champions team much to work with as the minifigure sports a simple white shirt and plain grey legs. Many modern Lego instructions include a part list at the end of the booklet. In the case of multiple booklets the list might be found in the middle of the PDF.I was on the phone to the Lego Store in Manchester today & they got a delivery of 250 sets of the Skyline, so hopefully theres gonna be one left when I go down tomorrow (13th Jan)

Fast 2 Furious Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) is the only LEGO Speed Champions set launching on January 1, 2023. That puts it outside the usual release schedule for the theme. These are great car toy models if you like LEGO speed Champions. Set Details for LEGO 2 Fast 2 Furious Nissan SkylineIf TLG does a James Bond car (very nice set IMO), and more of these F&F cars, there really is no reason on the grounds you state why this would be out of bounds. The Dukes of Hazzard was an action-comedy show about some guys being on probation for moonshine running. It was centred around car chases, all with light-hearted humour and harmless fun. There was never any obscenity, foul language, or anything other controversial about it. Hence, IMO perfect Speed Champion material. Not suitable for children under the age of 3 years due to small parts which could cause a choking hazard The wrinkled shirt is certainly basic, but nonetheless accurate, and I like the dual-moulded arms representing short sleeves. Brian's hairstyle is faithfully recreated too, in combination with facial hair. The mouth looks slightly strange though. I think this expression is supposed to convey the character's confidence when driving the Skyline, but maybe a more conventional smirk would be preferable.

I always liked the R32 V spec the best, aesthetically speaking. But the R34 was a far more capable machine. But my favorite are the trans blue 1×2 plates on the bottom which are supposed to resemble the neon lights that the original car has. This Fast and Furious car toy is so much fun to build. minifigure – The street racer model comes with a Brian O’Conner minifigure for kids to place behind the wheel and recreate thrilling scenes from the famous film franchise LEGO Speed Champions’ exploration of vehicles taken from films is still relatively new at the time of writing, debuting with both 76911 007 Aston Martin DB5 and 76912 Fast & Furious 1970 Dodge Charger R/T midway through 2022. The latter vehicle was close to one that the Speed Champions team had recreated before in 75893 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and 1970 Dodge Charger R/T. Even with the updated width, there were a few similarities in the techniques used between them. However, that’s not exactly the case with 76917 2 Fast 2 Furious Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34). Overall a solid addition. I think they captured the shape really well. They should have made the Supra from the first one since this wasn't in the movie long (unless you watch the first bit where he keeps racing around the country). After I build a new Lego set I always have a few small pieces left.
