About this deal

This design has a 22µF “output” capacitor. But I already have a 100µF capacitor as an “entry” to the A4988 stepper. PCB space is VERY limited for me. Can I just use the 100µF and drop the 22? It depends on the input voltage and current, the amount of the maximum stable output current is produced. These DC-DC boost converter modules operate at the frequency ≥1.2MHz, the typical efficiency is 93% subjected to the withdrawn load current. This USB 5v to 12v converter is most useful for powering up the WiFi router and decorative LED strip. You don't have permission to access "http://www.mouser.com/c/power/dc-dc-converters/isolated-dc-dc-converters/?" on this server. I’m trying to develop a project for TEG’s where I’m gathering electrical energy from various sources.

If you want your 5V ARGB devices to act like 5V ARGB devices (multiple colors at the same time) you will need an ARGB signal coming from somewhere. Many controllers can get their ARGB signals from USB 2.0 headers and third party software instead of a dedicated header and motherboard software (Such as Corsair or NZXT, but I dont know of any brands that work with standard ARGB equipment off the top of my head.) ARGB Airgoo Computer Fan Controller Commander - Speed Adjustable 3-pin or 4-pin fan - Include Strip PC Software buy a rgb hub that fits your rgb. if you have a port you could likely add more fans to it, until the power cant reach the rgb so maybe max 2-3 fans? not sure, just something to test. else 3 or 4 pin/volt difference to each other, no thanks? This circuit is similar to the above except output voltage in the circuit can be adjusted. As I already mentioned that output voltage is set by means of Voltage fed into the FB pin of MT3608. Here I have replaced the resistor R1 with Potentiometer PR1. As the resistance of POT changes the voltage in to the FB pin changes which in turn will change the output voltage accordingly.I was thinking of buying an ARGB Hub (5v3pin hub), and I'll have the said components connected to that - then will connect the 5v3pin hub to the Deepcool Converter > to my motherboard. So I would only be able to use static colors? Also, let me know if that controller kit works out for you. The intended output can also be drawn out using a fixed output 12v switching IC Lm2677-12 which comes under the lm2577 series step-up voltage regulator, image for schematic circuit is shown below:

i think the gelid is just an fancy Arduino controller with the fan and rgb ports hooked to it. but i could be wrongA hub only adds more headers if you have a motherboard with 1 3-pin 5v header. My motherboard has 0 3-pin 5v headers. ps. the hubs and controller are connected directly to the sata PSU pins, so I'm assuming there would be no problem with the amperage etc. regulation to make sure the output stays at 12V as long as the load consumption stays within the specs.
