Both the Tread app and the XT2 allow me to set a start point, add stops and shaping points, find gas stations, food, places to sleep, and points of interest, and easily create a route segment or the whole route for our ride. The file structure on the SD card is very important you must have a folder called Garmin (case sensitive) and within that folder another folder called GPX (again case sensitive) you then drop your route files into the GPX folder. I went on some amazing roads and saw some beautiful scenery using this feature and set the sat nav to this as often as possible.complete with ALL tags in place, helmet bag, manual, protective plastic on visor and any other associated parts supplied. When raining, even slightly, screen gets ‘touched’ by drops and its like randomly pressing parts of screen… However, I need for my vacation trips a strong properly working navigation (my last vacation offroad in the Alps without Navi was a huge disaster).
