If you were comfortable in configuring EdgeRouters via the CLI or config files, then you could easily run “vyOS” instead either as a VM or on physical hardware. It would take a bit of a learning curve since there is NO webGUI in vyOS currently. But it is much more robust and currently up to date compared to the long “dead” Vyatta project.
