About this deal

Anna Marikar, mum of four and seasoned blogger, has spent over a decade sharing her parenting journey and passion for kid-friendly crafts and free printables. You get 5 different size spinning tops ranging from large to small ones. Each spinner has a metal tip to spin them on, which cleverly when placed on top of the one below makes them light up using the different coloured LEDs inside them. They're based in convenient locations including supermarkets, newsagents and train stations. Plus they're often open late and on Sundays. Also Infernal Cry's debuff scales from "power" of enemies in range. I couldn't mind any concrete info on how that works.

You get a launcher that you must press the top button down on, then push your spinner into and turn, so you are in essence winding the spinner up. Once you cannot turn it anymore you then launch the spinner by pressing the button again on the top. The Totem Infernal Power game comes with five spinning tops, and one launcher. You need to use the launcher to charge up each top by spinning and twisting it, and then you can place each one on top of each other – but it’s harder than it sounds and takes concentration and skill! We loved this game, and it is up there as one of the ones that keep getting played in our house. It is one of those games that all members of the family enjoyed from the little kids to adults and its one that makes everyone equal, so kids feel like they really do have the chance to beat the parents.

In The Playroom is a UK based Parenting Lifestyle Blog with a focus on crafts, free printables and kids activities. Founded in 2011, the blog is ranked #2 in the UK and is co-written by Anna Marikar and Luciana Oliveira, best friends and mums of 5 kids and a dog.

The Ash debuff according to the wiki, makes enemies take 20% increased fire damage, have 20% less movement speed and lasts 4 seconds. Even my youngest was very tempted to have a go with the spinning tops too, although it’s realistically too hard for very young kids to succeed, she still had so much fun watching the rest of the family and feeling involved by having a little try. First off, we have to say prepare yourself to not get any instructions with this game and whilst in the most the game is very self-explanatory so we can understand this, we still struggled a bit trying to work out how to use the launcher, probably just an “Us Issue” as Dad’s worked it out straight away lol! We are a huge lover of Family Board Games, especially ones that challenge the adults as much as it does the children, and the new game Totem Infernal Power Game is one that definitely does that. Do not be mistaken by the simplistic look of this game as you will need skill, patience, and a real hunger to beat your competitors to take on this challenging game. Take it in turn to see who can build the tallest tower and if you all get all five spinners onto your tower, start timing to see who’s spins for the longest.Over time Twin Mummy and Daddy has gone from strength to strength. I write about our family life, my love for running and our passion for adventure and travel. Annoyingly the toy didn’t come with any instructions, so it took us a while to work out how to use it! Fortunately with the help of some videos we realised that you need to push the grey launcher against the spinning tops and twist around several times to ‘wind-up’ the spinners. You will also need 2x AAA batteries in the base spinner to allow the lights to work.
