About this deal

The quartz chronograph movement Timex uses is called the W92. It’s a fairly simple and robust movement that powers millions of watches sold all over the world. It is not exclusive to the Weekender Chronograph. It also powers the Expedition Chronograph and many other Timex chronograph models. The brown leather strap looks and feels good when worn. However, it is thin leather and begins to show wear almost immediately. I doubt it will last longer than a couple of years of regular wear. This chronograph features a 20-millimeter lug width to further compress the case size. Seagull 1963 I don’t see it holding up well in more active or dangerous situations, and while Timex says it has 30m/98ft worth of water resistance, I don’t think I’d take it for a swim either. Strap and Clasp The glass is a plain old mineral glass crystal, not the more expensive sapphire, so it's a little less scratch-prone. But if you are a severe user, then the mineral is occasionally less prone to shatter. Dial

Timex Weekender is a bit loud which may be bothersome to some users. Although it didn’t feel like a major issue to me, if you consider slight loudness to be irritating then u should rethink buying it. Where to find replaceable straps? To maintain water resistance, do not press any buttons under water unless your watch is indicated as 200m water-resistant. Great review. I own the watch and love it but my only complaint is the feel of the watch. It feels cheap in my opinion. There are other watching at that price point that feels more durable, especially the crown when adjusting the time/date. The good thing is that I pretty much just wear the watch and don’t have to fiddle with it so I rarely “experience” the cheap feel. Other than that, I completely agree with the review. Reply Speaking of Seagull movements, what if you found a Seagull-powered chronograph with better styling and more attention to detail? Enter the Lorier Gemini; a New York-based microbrand watch with macro-level styling for smaller wrists. The paper rolled up inside the stand is warranty information and such, not an operation manual. You will have to look elsewhere online for that (or watch my review video). The first impression of a product greatly impacts the buyer. The Weekender is capable enough to give off a promising impression considering its price. It is a decent one of all quartz watches. Though the first impression varies from person to person, personally I liked it and would recommend you to take a look at this. Performance This pricing advantage attracts most of the customers who want to get a decent watch considering its looks and performance at affordable pricing. I can confidently assure you that you will be satisfied with it. Obviously, it’s the 356’s case diameter that makes it such a great fit for smaller wrists. However, it’s the easily-read, clear design of its Flieger-style dial that makes it such a great watch in general. Hamilton Intra-Matic 40MM Actually solved my own problem. Decided to play with it a little more at the store and realized that the chronograph just needed to be recalibrated. After doing so, it worked perfectly and I decided to buy it. Reply

So, from my personal experience, I gotta say that the durability of the Weekender is up to mark. Affordability Which is just as well. Even with the right tool and experience, swapping straps on a watch with spring bars isn’t exactly plug and play. Any buffoon can slide a one-piece strap through some straight lugs with low-mounted spring bars. Most of the best chronographs for smaller wrists are quartz-powered, particularly in the affordable realm. Chronographs also have the ability to perform mathematical calculations or time the steak on the grill. But when it comes to the best chronographs for small wrists, there just aren’t any options.Obviously, case size is a factor in choosing any watch for a small wrist. But chronographs are tool watches, and going too small will defeat the purpose. You can view all the operations in the review video @13:14, including how to align the three chronograph hands individually. In short, to align the upper-left subdial (minutes), pull the crown to second position and press the reset pusher, the hand will move in 30-second increments. To align the large seconds hand for the chronograph, pull the crown to 3rd position and press the start/stop pusher to move a second at a time. To align the upper-right subdial (1 second), pull the crown to 3rd position and press the reset pusher to move 1/20th of a second at a time. The hands can get out of alignment from time to time, so this is good information to know! Now that you know what to look for when choosing a chronograph for a smaller wrist, let’s take a look at some of the best models available. The following chronographs are modestly sized but vary quite a bit in price range. However, there is something for almost everyone on the list. Timex Weekender Chronograph

The Timex Weekender uses a strap that’s more ZULU than NATO (inexplicably adorning the 40mm Timex Weekender): two metal keepers on a single web, devoid of the fold over bit that prevents the watch from sliding off. Looking to sell extra straps, Timex kept it simple. This was a key factor in choosing many of the timepieces featured later in this article, so look for timing bezels, tachymeters, and slide rules to help shrink your chronograph. Case Size Matters At a comfortable 39 millimeters (plus an iconic tachymeter bezel), it’s ideal for guys who love the heritage of the famous watch but don’t have the wrists for the real thing. Unlike some watches – where my dinky wrist (6.5″) takes the tightest hole (watch it!) – the Timex Weekender is a unisex watch with about an inch of adjustment on either side of my wrist. The webbing is firm and substantial without being stiff or bulky. The holes aren’t stretching or fraying yet, so mission accomplished. After reading our '' Timex Weekender Review'', you may have some inquiries. So, I'm including some most common questions to make sure you know all details about this watch before you buy it. Is The Timex Weekender loud?
