Fab little book and it really made us laugh. Like many parents I have sat through countless readings of the original version of this classic tale. Our eldest, at 18 months old, could recite the whole thing and used to have us in stitches with her version of the tale.He continues eating and drinking to make himself feel better for the rest of the day, but what cures him of his hangover? I wasn't sure whether this book would count as one of my reads, it is after all insanely short; however, the reality is it is a book and it's probably the best one I've read in a while. To say the Very Hungry Caterpillar has a special place is on our heart is a bit of an understatement. This time, we follow the quest of one man as he attempts to shake off his hangover, through eating whatever he can get his hands on, and annoying his family in the process.

It was a good pastiche of the very hungry caterpillar, but with a hungover dad as the main character. I wished the art style matched the original book. That would improve it for me.In case you hadn’t worked it out, I’m sure you have, this is a parody of the children’s book ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’. It is amusing and I for one am glad that I’m not a heavy drinker as the man looks in serious pain throughout the day and I don’t know how he managed to eat and drink so much looking for a cure – yuk!!
