About this deal

Max Monroe's books are highly rated among readers who love romance fiction. The avg rating for his books is typically very high, which is a testament to the engaging characters and captivating storylines he creates. I did have some other favorite things about this book. You know it’s the Winslow family. I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of them. There was so much text message goodness between the brothers. Winnie and mama Wendy brought the love and support. Remy and Lexi had some touching and funny moments in their uncle/niece relationship. Even Thatcher Kelly (we’ll call him family at this point) showed up to bring the laughs. Having all these people involved made Remy and Maria’s romance even more fun than it already was.

Max Monroe basically wrote this book for me with all the tropes and swoons. I’m a big fan of lovers friends so obviously that was my thing. And then add in one of my all-time favorite tropes, second chances, and I’m basically like putty on his hands. I read and loved all of the Winslow brothers when their books came out and was always very curious about Remy because he missed Cleo and her fortune telling all those years ago. And I felt so bad, I wanted to protect him. But, ever since she met Kline Brooks, Georgia’s understanding of men has changed. Kline is a billionaire bad boy that doesn’t exactly fit the mold.See, multiple studies* have shown that after reading this book, you’re up to 99%** more likely to suffer from a chronic book hangover***. Remy and Maria reconnecting at the current times in their lives was really cool. I loved that initial seeing each other again for the first time moment and how everything thing progressed from there. There was a lot to work through from Maria’s pregnancy and motherhood to Remy’s avoidance of relationships. Through it all my favorite thing was how Remy and Maria took care of each other and eventually Izzy. Those Izzy moments were especially special to me and reminded me a bit of seeing my husband become a father. *Sigh*

No information has been discovered to prove or disprove these rumors. In fact, there is nothing at the moment to suggest that Max Monroe is a pair of ladies. At the moment, people only know what Max Monroe has decided to reveal to them, which isn’t much. Welcome to Shh... [Smut, Heroes & HEAs], a reader group dedicated to contemporary Romance & Erotica. What was so great about Remy? He’s got confidence, drive, has a great relationship with his family, dotes on his niece, and wants to take care of those he loves when he can. His only little flaw is that he doesn’t do relationships. (We all know why!) That’s about to change when he reconnects with his high school sweetheart Maria. Did I spend my Wednesday dodging all commitments and reading this book? You can bet I did. And I have no regrets. Because Max Monroe definitely saved the best and most powerless of the brothers for last. Though, to be fair, I love Flynn (from The Pact) even more, but Remy almost shares that spot. This book made me laugh, sigh, and just rhapsodize many times, and that’s what I love about Max Monroe’s books. You rarely get bored! Key to their success is Amy Tannenbaum, their agent who has championed them during their journey. Amy understands the publishing industry and she has had the foresight to anticipate the changes as they have come, keeping her clients ahead of the curve. It is official. I fell in love with another Winslow brother. Remy is the definition of swoon and she couldn’t get enough of him. You can’t help but feel like there’s divine intervention, fate, or some kind of magic at play here in this series… and you know, I totally agree. And that Maria, she’s such a strong heroine. Despite all the difficulties she had to face alone, she is a successful business woman and is about to become a mother. It’s not easy for her to let anyone in. But Remy makes it almost impossible not to. Needless to say, my current status is thorny. And no, I didn’t miss how close that word is to another one.

Honestly, we’re highly tempted to add a disclaimer about using protection while reading, but apparently, Trojan doesn’t offer *ahem* for electronic devices. So, just consider this a warning. A big warning. The Pact is going to make you laugh your booty off, but its HOT LEVEL is so OFF THE CHARTS, there’s a chance this book could get you pregnant via osmosis. But when we got to the end of The Secret and saw Remy stepping out of the elevator with Maria, I was delighted! I loved that the story alternated between the present and her past, giving us just enough insight to understand the connection between Maria and Remy. And your bonding guys… it was so nice! Many moons ago, a dynamic duo of romance authors teamed up under the pseudonym Max Monroe, and, well, the rest is history... Tapping the Billionaire has also been accused of being very clichéd, what with numerous misunderstandings driving the plot. Needless to say, my current status is thorny. And no, I didn’t miss how close that word is to another one.

And whether or not it is true that Max Monroe is a pair of best-selling authors, no one can deny the fact that the ploy, if it is indeed a ploy, is working. The idea gets people talking and theorizing as to which two renowned bestselling authors could be behind the Max Monroe name. And I’m just trying to survive a tangled web of unexpected motherhood and running one of the top real estate firms in the city that never sleeps. If you thought you had a lot of Winslow shenanigans in the first three books, you were wrong. It all shows in this one simply because Remy is the last of the brothers to get married and the others are unbearable because of it. I loved seeing the brothers again and I loved seeing Winnie and Wes. As always, Thatcher delivers her genius. But do you know what I liked the most? There’s a scene between Remy and Flynn at a carnival and guys… the amount of laughter I had during that scene was insane.

Put a finger down if you’re a Max Monroe reader who has been waiting for Remy Winslow to get his own book since you read his younger sister Winnie’s book Scoring the Billionaire.WARNING: This book is outright hilarious, as you might expect, but also, Flynn is the kind of hero who brings a little something extra to the table—hot, mysterious, dirty-talking, this man will make your ovaries explode. You too? Awesome! Well, you’re going to LOVE The Redo then. Remy is everything you hoped he would be, and he finally gets his chance at forever with someone super special. Max Monroe saved Lexi’s (and my) favorite Winslow brother for last.
