I read this book on a dismal Monday morning in NYC n to say I went to work with a pep in my step is not too far from the truth. This is a story of tremendous laughs and OMGs. One of the funniest, truest, & heartwarming novels I've ever read. And Scout...I need her as my bff. Like now. Not only was this book entertaining it was also very educational. I loved that Oloni did extensive research into sex and relationship, consent, virginity, sexual health and range of other important topics. I loved that she was very open in this book about her own sexual experiences. She discusses the need for women to be able to enjoy sex just as much as men and offers some very helpful tips. I don't know. Maybe 2001 was a shitty confusing time for female sexuality and I'm just not remembering it all that well because that was 11 years ago and I was in high school. But that doesn't really change the fact that this book kind of blows.I found this book to be very enlightening. It is full of useful information with precise details and visual aids. Ok.......then, they're just kissing here and there til about 58% ish into the book 🙄🙄🙄😬 I'm like......girl he's that hawt and youre creaming your panties over him but you haven't done the deed yet? Damn! Jump on him! He's ready to go! The great supporting cast adds more layers of humor and warmth. You'll laugh, swoon, cry (just a little!), and fall in LOVE with this one. Such an amazing book that once I started I couldn't put it down until it was finished. It was definite worth the book hangover I got from staying up so late. It was sad that it had to end however I was thrilled that we will get to read the next book " Introduces the Fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous as a diverse group of alcoholics who have “lost the power of choice in drink” and whose common solution to their problem with alcoholinvolves a profound “spiritual experience.” I openly call Oren boyfriend. It’s like I leaped out of the closet. I’m not ashamed or insecure of who I am anymore. Oren’s brought out the inner girl in me.
