Deal almost exclusively with the inscriptions meant to be displayed on banners, trumpets, darts, etc. x–xiv. A number of liturgical pieces, which seem meant for the War of Divisions, but explicitly mention the Kittim, possibly because these are a later addition stemming from a tradition of a more universal fight against the Kittim. [7] xv–xix. Describes the seven-stage battle, led by the priests, between Light and Darkness, the War against the Kittim. The battle is finally won by divine intervention. I write every day before I head off to sleep and the first thing when I wake up. I know many budding writers wait for creativity to strike but I have found the Muse favours working stiffs. You don’t wait for the Muse to take you to the temple, you show up at the temple, do your ritual and if she is happy, she will descend on your keyboard. Most take it the other way round, and destroy their chances of finishing a book. Consistency is the cradle of creativity. Alright, I will end this answer before it turns into a Ted Talk.Samantha Shannon on A Day of Fallen Night “It’s been empowering for me personally to write a world which is quite women-centric”

Gourav: I am currently reading The Anarchy by William Dalrymple and Sixth Extinction by Elizabeth Kolbert, and in fiction, I am reading The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern and Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin. I read multiple books simultaneously and consequently can die anytime under the TBR Tower.Strong's 3956: All, the whole, every kind of. Including all the forms of declension; apparently a primary word; all, any, every, the whole. I don’t usually mention prologues, but this one was incredible in execution. Very good, very bloody. Very necessary. It sets the tone for a book so epic in scope and grim in its nature. It is perhaps the most effective prologue I’ve seen used since the Rage of Dragons and that’s because it does two things, very effectively and efficiently: tells us the ‘why‘ and I mean the ‘why is anyone here in the main plot doing anything’ and the ‘what’ as in what’s to come. What happened. What will happen. As a bonus, it explains the state of the world, gods, magic system and that’s without really telling us, but showing by way of cool, badass opening sequence. You place Sons of Darkness in the 'grimdark' fantasy space, and describe it as India's first grimdark novel. What drew you to writing grimdark? Were there any challenges with writing in this genre?
