About this deal

Have you ever had one of those moments when you’re about to do something important, and you’re way out of your comfort zone, and there’s a lot at stake, and the pressure is on, and of all the positive things you could be thinking, what you’re actually thinking is: What on earth am I doing here? After that, I opened my mind to the rest of the book. All I can say, is that you have to read it for yourself, especially if you are struggling with the loss of a love one. It is a beautiful experience. It’s a lovely concept, if you don’t think too critically about it: the existence of the “other side”, shrouded in love and light. A reality where death isn’t real and we get to be with our loved ones again. Not just our loved ones, either, apparently. Our pets and our unborn babies, too, according to Laura Lynne!

When we sleep, our brains go offline. We drift away from consciousness. The noise and the static quiet. Our brains shift in and out of the frontal lobe. We enter into something called slow-wave sleep, and beyond that, REM sleep—the deepest level of sleep, the state in which we dream. Ironically, our brains are nearly as active during REM sleep as they are during waking life, with remarkable bursts of electrical activity.”He was known for eating cereal,” he said with a laugh. “Breakfast, lunch, dinner, every day. I was worried he wasn’t getting enough nutrients. He just loved eating cereal.”

There’s the famous saying “Be careful what you wish for.” The Other Side has taught me a version of this lesson—sometimes it’s a blessing not to get what you want.” Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning’s hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there. I did not die. —MARY ELIZABETH FRYE” I loved this book. Having lost close people in my life . This gave me hope knowing that they’ll be fine and that they look out for us. This stirring guide . . . asserts that anyone can learn to understand messages that are sent from the 'Other Side.' . . . For readers struggling with loss who believe it's possible to communicate with the deceased, this book will console and empower them to look beyond their suffering ( Publishers Weekly) And she is partially right. But the book got clouded by this other stuff, by her and not her message. Also it just got plain ole repetitive. Do I need 1000 (exaggeration) stories of the same thing to get ur point?DEATH IS NOTHING AT ALL Death is nothing at all. It does not count. I have only slipped away into the next room. Nothing has happened. Everything remains exactly as it was. I am I, and you are you, and the old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged. Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by the old familiar name. Speak of me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference into your tone. Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without an effort, without the ghost of a shadow upon it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. There is absolute and unbroken continuity. What is this death but a negligible accident? Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just round the corner. All is well. Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting when we meet again! —HENRY SCOTT-HOLLAND” Why is he giving me a bowl of cereal?” I asked the driver. “Why does he want me to talk to you about cereal?” We are given dozens of true life examples of people constantly receiving signs from the other side.
