About this deal

The pricing is adequate and HD 300 Pro is a sound investment if you’re looking for headphones for either or both of the use-cases discussed above. In case the budget is a concern, skip the HD 280 Pro and go straight to Audio-Technica ATH-M20x. The high sound pressure level of up to 123dB also grants you ample headroom. These can get loud. A good choice if you work in a noisy environment or want to crank up the volume on the odd occasion. As always exercise caution. You don’t want to be listening to music at high levels for extended periods. Your hearing will suffer in the long run.

Sennheiser is a German consumer manufacturer specializing in designing and producing a wide range of high-end products, including headphones, earphones, microphones, and other professional and business products and services. It was developed in 1945 by Prof. Dr. Fritz Sennheiser and is still an independent family business. But this increased low-end response does unbalance the overall sound profile. While satisfying they are not as neutral as some people may want or need. For serious analytical work, these come up a little short. Overall, HD 25 is the best DJ headphones from the Sennheiser brand for easy-to-use and comfortable on-ear headphones. Produces overall an outstanding louder performance sound with a speedy response. You can play it for studio mixing, DJing, camera photography, singing, guitar, music production, and all kinds of different users with a wide range of musical instruments for both indoors and outdoors.

Before you disclose to us the personal information of another person, you must obtain that person’s consent to both the disclosure and the processing of that personal information in accordance with this policy As you can see, the sound signature is pretty neutral for the most part. All the way 20 Hz to 1,000 Hz, the line is parallel to our baseline and benchmark reading of the pink noise. But, as soon as we cross the 1,000 Hz mark, there’s a slight dip, followed by a massive spike in the Low to High Treble range (i.e. between 3 kHz and 10 kHz range). This is a very normal thing in Sennheiser’s professional-grade headphones. However, in this case, it the boost was much more than expected. There also a dip around 1 kHz range, which was there in these headphones as well, but not that significant. We may disclose your personal information to any of our employees, officers, insurers, professional advisers, agents, suppliers, or subcontractors as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this policy. They’re always a top-of-line headphones brand for professional mixing and mastering headphones. Got awarded for the design competition and premium audio products by iF DESIGN AWARD 2020. It is a symbol of outstanding achievements focusing on the design’s innovative power, excellent work, and performance.

Regarding adaptiveness, the bass response will vary a bit from listener to listener, but in most cases, it should stay between +/- 3dB. Mids stay very consistent and in the higher frequency range issues in most cases should stay within the same +/- 3dB How much do they differ pair to pair in terms of frequency response? The newly developed HD 300 PRO delivers a neutral, high-resolution working sound. Its huge depth of detail passes through even in the loudest of environments. Irrespective of whether you are editing, playing or composing music, and regardless of whether you’re behind a drum kit, at the mixing desk, in a live setting or in the studio, the HD 300 PRO provides the details that you need for making good decisions. We will not, without your express consent, supply your personal information to any third party for their or any other third party’s direct marketing. if we believe that the documents may be relevant to any ongoing or prospective legal proceedings; and This Section G sets out our data retention policies and procedure, which are designed to help ensure that we comply with our legal obligations regarding the retention and deletion of personal information. In practice, you will usually either expressly agree in advance to our use of your personal information for marketing purposes, or we will provide you with an opportunity to opt out of the use of your personal information for marketing purposes. The HD 300 PRO works at the same level of precision that you apply to your production. To make this possible, we have pushed its acoustic properties to the boundaries of physics and recalculated them. Firstly, it’s linear frequency response. It doesn’t interpret, but rather ensures neutral transparency – the basis for good decisions. Its sound pattern remains delicate and precise in every application – across the entire spectrum. As for the cushioning on the earcups and the headband, the Viscoelastic material used by Sennheiser makes wearing the headphones extremely comfortable. I wear glasses and had these headphones on for at least 7 to 8 hours a day, and there was hardly any discomfort that I experienced. Neither did the headband dig into my skull, nor did the earcups cause pain around the area where they sit. The Viscoelastic ear padding is equally high-quality. The force is once again present but they offer a good level of squish to sit around your ears. Though people with glasses may find these a little uncomfortable.

I actually found the HD 300 a little comfier than the HD 400 S. The earpads feel chubbier and softer on the ears. Or maybe it’s the CBD oil I put in my coffee. Who knows. But because the frame is so light, you can probably wear these cans for hours at a time without discomfort. The sound isolation is not bad either even though the fit avoids being too firm.We may disclose your personal information to any member of our group of companies (this means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and all its subsidiaries) as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this policy.

When you think of it, headphones are a bargain compared to studio monitors and a properly treated studio. In the past, they’ve been a kind of poor cousin, but with advances in both headphone design and new digital tools, it’s not impossible to find work that was recorded, mixed and mastered on something like the HD 300. Sennheiser also produce a version of these headphones— the HD 300 PROtect—with a switchable ‘Active Gard’ hearing protection feature that the company say satisfies international directives on industrial safety and noise control. If you spend long hours in the studio using headphones, a pair of these might just save your precious hearing. These are highly recommended DAC and amplifiers from experts for all the Sennheiser headphones, and the complete list is below: TOPPING A90 Headphone Amp– Audiophile premium quality high-performance headphone amp that can also work as a pre-amp. It comes with three gain settings and has excellent performance. This ultimate musicians guide helps you find the best Sennheiser headphones for music production to work with all kinds of music recording software and devices.

I like the thight fit of these cans, but I have noticed that it is not to everyones liking. So if you like your headphones to sit loose, these are not for you. It’s not the prettiest of THD graphs but with calibration enabled the numbers get pretty much halved and regardless of calibration being engaged or not, no audible distortion artefacts showed up in our listening tests. How accurate and consistent is the correction effect among different listeners? Personal information that we process for any purpose or purposes shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose or those purposes.
