About this deal

Anything of a nature that for hygiene or associated health and safety - this includes the Outdoor Spas, Mattresses and Divan Sets

To make it very clear that foxes are not welcome in your garden, it’s worth using at least two different fox deterrents. It’s important these two deterrents target different senses from one another. There are a number of options available, from ultrasound deterrents to simple spike matts, and with each possible fox deterrent or repellant there are pros and cons, not to mention a selection of different brands and products to wade through to find those hidden gems. In fact, it’s specifically designed to help protect plants, flowerbeds, potted plants and grass from being dug up, damaged or fouled on by foxes. On the other hand, a wild fox is completely reliant upon itself. It doesn’t have the luxury of a waiting bowl of food or a nice comfortable sofa to retreat to. One wrong move and the fox could potentially lose its life.We were created in 2003 to become the UK's largest online-only garden centre. Thousands of plants, planters, awnings, garden furniture sets, water features and more line our digital shelves, and we're ready to fill your garden with comfort, quality, colour and style. I was finding not so little fox ‘deposits’ in my garden and so it was a great opportunity to give this stuff a whirl. If you’re unsure, add around 5 litres of water and see if this is enough to cover the areas in need of protection. Scoot is widely acclaimed as the ultimate solution for fox deterrent and control in gardens. This fox repellent is very effective because it contains 88% aluminium ammonium sulphate and is non-toxic.

Installing them is really straightforward. Just place them a little below ground level so that the spikes are facing up and then cover the strip in a thin layer of soil. This style of fox repellant is very versatile, being quite easy to cut into the desired shape with scissors, or to be connected with other strips to cover larger surfaces. I personally hooked a few together to cover a good-sized area I’d just planted seeds in and it took very little preparation or messing around, something I was very happy about. These strips are made out of weather and UV resistant plastic that is flexible enough for plants to grow through it, while still being a great fox deterrent. No, unfortunately Scoot Fox Repellent is a British-made product and is not currently available in the USA. However, Scoot doesn’t contain citronella and doesn’t seek to repel foxes by creating a smell so bad that the fox (or your cat) doesn’t want to go near it. It’s actually cleverer than that and again targets the fox’s sense of territory. So, it’s very important that you spray Scoot multiple times – ideally every 2-3 days for a couple of weeks. This will maintain the concentration levels of the scent and give the fox the impression that the new intruder is a serious and permanent threat. The strips are a mesh design, covered in lots of small spikes that are harmless to the animal, but they still irritate them so much once they start digging or scratching that they no longer want to dig in that spot.

This is a very life-like fox ornament that can potentially provide a slight visual deterrent to real-life foxes considering coming into your garden. For those who like foxes, this is a beautifully crafted statue that can sit out in your garden in all weathers. A water ‘scarecrow’ is a popular animal deterrent that connects to a garden hose and springs into life by spraying a jet of water every time something crosses the motion sensor. The plastic used for the housing is on par with the Pestbye model, and it has been tested for weatherproofing and has been certified with a IP68 rating, which basically means you don’t have to think twice about leaving this fox deterrent outside in any weather. You’ll see below that the recommended fox deterrents are targeting the fox’s sense of territory, they are not doing anything that will impact upon your cat. Pump action pressure sprayers also have a spraying wand and trigger, allowing you to spray the solution evenly around your garden and in hard-to-reach areas without much effort. In the absence of observed scenting behaviour, perimeters are a good starting point and anywhere fox scent can be smelled. Also any areas of "scorching" on lawns which will identify areas where marking is a factor and where persistant fouling is noted. Feeling a little annoyed, but undeterred ourselves, we set about spraying all over again, but this time we made sure to keep applying the Scoot fox repellent every evening. This time it worked wonders, and after two weeks of my friend spraying, he stopped and hasn’t had any problems since.
