Almond Octagon (purple wrapper, replaced with Vanilla Octagon, although the latter is now discontinued as well) In November 2021, Quality Street asked the nation what their favourite retro sweet was. It was revealed that Coffee Creme was the number one most-loved retro sweet. The sweet gained 39% of the vote. The flagship Oxford store station is open now, and the others will follow suit throughout the rest of the month. This is compared to The Purple One, which has more of an oval shape and the Orange Crunch, which is in the shape of a hexagon. While both of the chocolate delights will change in shape, they will still be in their purple and orange wrapping so people will still be able to tell the difference. QUALITY Street fans are only just realising they can customise their tubs - and only fill it with their favourite flavour. Quality Street brand manager, Samantha Hirst said: ‘We’ve been keeping the exciting news of the return of the Coffee Creme tightly under wraps so it’s a huge relief to finally share it with Quality Street fans across the UK. Meanwhile, branches in Liverpool, Solihull, Leeds and Nottingham will be opening up stands to the public.

It comes after Nestlé launched a brand new Quality Street Collisions bar earlier this month that left fans divided. The unique treat blends together two of the most popular chocolates from the Quality Street tins - The Purple One and the Green Triangle. It combines caramel, creamy hazelnut, and crunchy hazelnut pieces in three chocolatey layers and first appeared in Asda , although it is set to come to further supermarkets later this month.Coffee cremes are by no means the only Quality Street chocs to have been discontinued over the years, as disappointed chocolate lovers have had to face the heartbreak of losing many other firm favourites. The full list of axed sweets include: You can get Quality Street chocs for cheaper elsewhere - but you won't be able to choose your flavours, and tins might be smaller. In a bid to become more environmentally-friendly, the treats are now being wrapped in a duller form of waxed paper, which is recyclable. There's a number of shops and supermarkets which sell Quality Street tins - and you'll want to know where to buy them for cheap.

Jemma Handley, senior brand manager for Quality Street, said: "We are trialling a different shape for two of our sweets this Christmas season. We know how iconic Quality Street sweets are and we have made sure that it is the same great-tasting Purple One and Orange Crunch that people know and love inside their iconic coloured wrappers." Quality Street lovers will also be able to create their own personalised boxes at John Lewis this year during the festive season. The Mirror reports that you'll only be able to get that specific flavour within certain Quality Street products, rather than it being a widespread return. A number of other stores will be unveiling stations across October, including in Bluewater, Bristol, London and Cheadle. You'll need to keep an eye out for the tubs including the new Orange Crunch shapes because not all tubs will include them. If you're worried about these chocolates replacing the Caramel Crunch, don't worry, as this won't be the case. Better yet, the price of tubs featuring the newly shaped sweets will remain the same.We know everyone is going to be very excited about this iconic return and we wanted to make it as accessible as possible. The Honeycomb Crunch - which is a bite of milk chocolate containing shards of honeycomb - was removed from tubs and selection boxes four years ago. Remember to search store locators if you're planning to buy in person - it'll save you trekking to find a branch.

Quality Chocolate fans are only just realising you can get Quality

Meanwhile, Pizza Hut recently announced the return of two discontinued menu items after nearly a decade. After more than 20 years, Quality Street fans can experience the indulgent coffee flavour fondant wrapped in dark chocolate in stores starting from 20th September at Waitrose.

The news comes after Quality Street announced the return of a discontinued chocolate last year, the Honeycomb Crunch, which was previously axed in 2018.
