It was hard to think of which beauty dupes to include in my top 5 as I could have mentioned others, but the eyebrow palette is something I use on a daily basis. I would say it is only second to foundation in terms of a product I don’t feel “dressed” without – gotta keep those brows on fleek after all. I’ll definitely be trying this on out on my next bridal makeup trial, where as the Boysenberry will be much more ideal for evening occasion eyes. Even a smokey deep purple and grey eye. In the above photos, I’m wearing some makeup products from the super affordable Home Bargain makeup range, Olivia Hale. The items retail from 99p, and when I actually received a huge box of the brand to try, at first thought I figured they must be a new premium brand.I’m yet to try out the eye shadows, but these two shades below in Boysenberry (the deeper purple) and Walnut Whisper have been added to my bridal makeup kit straight away. I swatched the brown shade (the Walnut Whisper) and it’s a warm shimmery brown shade which would look incredible blended into the crease of bridal eye makeup. June through to July was a bit tough for me. I was really poorly and in and out of hospital. I spent a long time in bed trying to recover, which meant I was bored. When I am bored I shop online for makeup. I got the Slay All Day setting Spray (Cucumber) from Beauty Bay. Firstly, the scent is perfect. But, it also does a great job at setting my face and keeping my makeup in place. THE PERFECT FOUNDATION BRUSH - Comparable to (considered by many as better than) high end brand foundation brushes costing twice as much or more. Makeup can be expensive, which is why I’m always looking for high quality cheaper alternatives that won’t break the bank.

My favourite has to be the make-up brushes. These are by far the best make up brushes I have ever used and are even better than the Real Technique brushes I have been using for years. How are you all? I hope you are all having a lovely Summer. The weather has been absolutely pants recently. From Primark to Aldi, our favourite thrift stores and supermarkets are dipping their toes into the beauty sphere with aplomb.

There are 2 products included in the set, a dark brown cream and a slightly lighter powder. I tend to use the cream – a tiny brush is included but like so many other products I found the application is much better using a dedicated brush. I have ombre hair which is very dark brown at the top so I like my eyebrows to be a similar shade. The colour lasts all day and it is as good as the HD brows kit for sure. I honestly don’t think that there is any cheaper product out there that works better than this. My number 1 budget product has always been Poundland’s liquid eyeliner but this is even cheaper than that- albeit by 1p but sure every penny counts! One implored: "Ladies try the eyebrow palette - it's great and stays put" and another described the range as "excellent value for money and lovely to boot".
