Regardless of whether you know either of these, this is a worthwhile short novel to read. And I highly recommend it.

That said, I do have to give people an up front warning: this series is a bit perverted and is all but guaranteed to become more perverted as our main character ages up to adulthood. To go into too much detail would kind of give the plot away somewhat (and possibly put me in danger of violation of Goodreads rules), but there is mention here of masturbation, voyeurism, and panty sniffing. None of this is given in any true detail, but it is mentioned. I know that we're all mature, but I also know that some people just don't like reading stuff like that (and possibly don't want very young readers to read this) so I do feel like I should mention this.Melalui pertemuan inilah, keduanya menjadi teman. The main character has almost no redeeming qualities in the beginning. He's a horribly behaved shut-in, and the book is not afraid of showing it. But that just makes the character progression all the more satisfying for it.A manga adaptation by Yuka Fujikawa began serialization in the June 2014 issue of Monthly Comic Flapper. Seven Seas Entertainment also licensed the tankōbon volumes of the manga for localization in North America. The party arrives at a part that will take them to their next destination, the Milis continent. Following the Human-God's advice, Rudeus enters an alleyway and encounters the Demon Empress Kishirika Kishirisu, who gives him the power of foresight as a reward. Due to the Milis' discrimination against the Supard race, Rudeus pays an organized crime group to smuggle Ruijerd. Once there, Rudeus and Ruijerd betray the organization to save kidnapped children from the beast race. After freeing the Holy Beast, the beast race's deity, the beast race mistaken Rudeus to be part of the organization and is incarcerated. After clearing the misunderstanding, Rudeus, Ruijerd, and Eris spend a few months with the beast race as they wait for the seasonal rainstorm to pass. They then continue onwards and are accompanied by Gisu, Rudeus' cellmate, who was imprisoned for gambling. I do not recommend this light novel/web novel, both the author and its main character Rudeus Grayrat are modest, underachievers, wimps, cowards. #FAIL He is reborn as a baby named Rudeus, and says, "This time, I'm going to live my life for real. ......! and decides to live a life without regrets. A lot of thought has been put into everything from the history, the magic system, and character development. (you get to already see the main character go from a trash human being to working on bettering himself and his views on woman in the first 7 years of his life. But it's an uphill battle for someone who was a NEET for what, about three decades?) Now as for any negatives, I only have one and thats how the adults don’t treat Rudy like a kid, we all know he is mentally 35 but the characters don’t. So when his father talks about how he chased women, from Rudy’s dad perspective he is telling this stuff to a 6 year old child and thats kind of messed up even if we know mentally Rudy is an adult. Still this was a minor thing. There are more issues specifically with Rudy’s dad that are problematic, but avoiding any spoilers.

This review might seem overly positive, but the book just really resonated with me, and I could not bring myself to put it down. Volume pertama ini menceritakan kisah seorang Neet berusia 34 tahun yang akhirnya berreinkarnasi ke dunia lain menjadi seorang bayi lelaki bernama Rudeus Greyrat. Akan tetapi, dunia tempat ia berreinkarnasi bukan dunia yang sama dengan tempat ia sebelumnya tinggal melainkan dunia yang berkaitan erat dengan sihir dan pedang. Dengan berbekal pengalaman dan pengetahuan dari kehidupan sebelumnya, Rudeus akhirnya memutuskan untuk bersungguh-sungguh di kehidupan barunya ini agar tidak mengulangi kesalahan yang sama seperti pada kehidupan pertamanya. Dari sedari kecil, ia rutin membaca buku sihir yang dimiliki oleh orang tuanya dan berlatih sihir setiap hari di rumah.I finish it in a flash. We'll, it was a light novel, but even so the whole ride seems so long and engaging, likes the reader really are starting life over just like Rudy. For 1st volume only readers that feels a bit skeptical about the series lighthearted start, as Mushoku Tensei will dig much deeper and can be quite mature when it counts as well.
