The puzzles themselves are found in the included spiral-bound book. Starting with puzzle A, the easiest setting is a 3 pentamino puzzle. To solve it, you place the divider between 3 and 4 and then select the 3 pentaminos shown in row A up to the number 3.

Your goal is to completely fill the board space between the edge and the divider (known as a “penta”) with the allotted pieces. When you have solved that penta, you move the divider up one space along to between 4 and 5. Now, you use the 4 pentaminos shown in row A to completely fill what is a larger board space.

The first player who cannot place a piece anymore loses. (Similar to Blokus) An old version of the game had only 10 pieces; the completely straight 5 square and the 5 square "plus sign" were not included. Both versions also have a bunch of "filler" pieces of 1 or 2 squares. The majority of our items are delivered within 2 working days from the date of dispatch although this is not Katamino is a puzzle game with both 2D and 3D challenges of progressive difficulty, and also offers a strategic game challenge for two players. The two or three player strategy game is accomplished on a square board divided into 64 smaller squares.
