Now, she can't stand to hear a single melody... you know when you finish a book so fast people think it’s because you liked it? that’s usually true to me, but holy shit this book was like hell to me and i needed to get out of the other side asapI read this book in one sitting. Started at around 8 pm one night and was unable to put it down until I finished it, which happened to be around 4:30 am. That’s what Identity does to you. It pulls you into the darkness, into the secrets and lies, captivating you with the anguish of the story and desire for these characters to pull through and survive the hardest time in their life, wondering what could possibly happen next. levi is the perfect book boyfriend: grumpy but with a soft spot for his girls and i loved every single pov of his. his character development was out of this world. AND HIS DIRTY MOUTH? don’t even get me started on that. I don't think i will have the right words to describe how good this book is! Its also very clear how the growth of writing happened into the next book! i don’t think i have enough words to describe this book, this story, this relationship development. everything was so well written, from the fake dating to the slow burn, everything was PERFECT.

I loved this so much, when I tell you I was smiling and giggling through the entire book, I love their story, how they both helped each other, it’s was so cute.

amelia….what to say about her? amelia was already was one of my favorite characters since book 1, my favorite broken sunshine girl. i feel like some girls that suffer from the same that amelia always feel like their trauma is overlooked and alexia just explained it perfectly. Reading this book made me so happy. I remember reading Identity when it was still an ongoing story on wattpad. Look where we are now, years later reading Amelia's story!!

Both Amelia and Levi’s trauma and addictions just touched me from every way. Even if I haven’t experienced all of it, there was always something that I could recognize myself in. I think that’s one reason why the book felt so close to read for me! Trinity used to be the life of the party. She enjoyed music. However, that all changed when she lost someone she loved. She acts stone-cold, but on the inside, she just wants someone to love. The book was not just focused on Levi and Amelia, but also on the sibling bond Amelia has with her two brothers and the friendship with trinity which warmed my heart a lot. Lets not also forget the bond between Levi and his younger sister to who my heart melted for by the way🥺 Identity shows the side of love that is not commonly discussed in romance novels. Love isn’t always fun and games, and Identity perfectly captures that and explains the not so pretty side of relationships, while still making The mental health representation in this book is outstanding. The topics discussed within this book are heavy and triggering, so please do your research before reading. Both characters are broken in a way that neither of them can navigate, living in a darkness that no one else seems to understand. But through their mental health struggles and deep-seeded agony, they’re drawn to each other, providing a sort of light for each other that makes them want to be better, to live.But don't get fooled because this one is SPICYYYYYY AND I'M LIVING! The filthy mouth Levi has made me love him more!!! Trinityyyyy. I love her. Especially in this book. She's me if I could directly speak to Amelia. I love that we got to see her again. Elijah too. While both characters struggle with trauma and mental health issues, they learn how to deal with it, and grow as people in the process.

i fear he might swoop into my top 5 book boyfriends. just like amelia, i fell in love with his words, he just has a way with them. Not before giving their amused brother a dirty look. “You should have seen the way you guys held on to each other. Might asLevi is just the perfect book boyfriend, towards everyone else he seems grumpy but for the persons he loves the most he is so sweet and caring. Having a sweet spot for his girls!
