About this deal

Whether you want to listen to music in peace without disturbing anyone or just want to watch a movie, a headphone is very much essential for that. Audiophile or not, if you like to listen to music, you have obviously thought of buying a headphone. And today we are going to talk about the comparison Sennheiser HD6XX vs HD650 and provide as much as information we can. Comparison Charts between Sennheiser HD6XX vs HD650: With the HD580x, you get a sense of height that is noticeably more prominent than the width factor, which hurts separation of instruments and makes it more of a vocalist’s ideal headphone and not one suited for wide sounding recordings. Drop has claimed the HD8XX to be (or at least, aims to be) the “logical conclusion of the HD800 series”, but this seems more like a spit in the face to its legacy. Instead of coming with a normal carrying case or pouch, it comes with this this big box which I hate. It's not travel friendly ONE BIT, it has a cutout to place the headphones in which isn't even fully snug or designed well, and the box is prone to getting easily dirty and its hard to clean or the material comes off. I'm going to sell my pair and the box already looks a bit like hell, and I've barely done anything to it. Why? Just why?

I do praise it for being fairly correct, having decent resolution and being a relaxing listen for the price. It is not a bad headphone. The HD6xx is good for the price. Attachments Quality, again, depends on the rig and amp to scale up. If you are using a lower end system, my HD58x Jubilee sounds subjectively a little cleaner than the HD6xx. However, that changes when I use an expensive amplifier and DAC, where the HD6xx moves out ahead in quality. The HD6xx sounds polite, hyper smooth and of a more dense tonality in terms of physical weight carried.

If you’ve heard the HD800/S then you should have a pretty good idea on how the HD8XX performs technically. Top-class resolution with some of the widest (some say the widest) soundstage in a headphone are the prime reasons why the HD800 series still remain relevant more than 10 years since their release in 2009. Given the KSC75’s mid-bass emphasis and forward upper-midrange response, I would classify it as a “bass rolled V-shape”. The measurements I’ve done correspond with my subjective impression on its tonal profile. I always wondered what the upper limits in sound quality can be achieved with this design. You take a much superior driver and then you tune it for the job at hand. I bet it could be truly glorious. I imagine a super fast and punchy alive sound with great holographic imaging. Not the deepest stage but within that space everything is 3D. Headphones not only gives great audio experiences, but it also keeps you isolated from the noise of the outside world, and lets you enjoy music peacefully without any interference. So for enjoying music and other things, you must own good headphones. The best TVs of 2023 are all models that deliver exceptional picture quality, solid motion clarity, and intuitive streaming platforms. But beyond watching movies and shows, these TVs should also deliver a phenomenal gameplay experience, whether you’re a Playstation 5 household or a Nintendo Switch devotee.

My usual thanks to all my current supporters and shoutouts to my big money boys: What I’ve said in my initial impressions still hold true now; yes, the changes made to the HD8XX does cut the treble peakiness of the HD800/S significantly, but introduces a slew of other even more troubling issues that completely overshadow that fix. Again, seems analogous to cutting off an entire limb in response to being asked to lose weight. I wouldn’t have any second thoughts of getting rid of the 660s, but the 600 and 6xx… I don’t ever want to part with either. A truly legendary headphone series for a reason. I can absolutely see why some may prefer the HD600 over the HD6xx, and I love them both. However, I could absolutely do without the HD660s. I've never truly loved them, but hearing the other two made me disappointed in the HD660s even more. I don't regret buying them, and they served me very well, but... I paid at least double for them and the return on investment just isn't there. Live and learn! Now, it does have surprisingly good imaging chops and presents music in a fairly wide stage with good (but not amazing) instrumental positioning, but that’s almost expected given its earspeaker-like configuration. You’re not expecting much, I’m not expecting much, so let’s just rip the band-aid off. Obviously, the sub-bass response of the KSC75 is its biggest weakness that cannot be fixed with mere EQ, so don’t get one if you value dat rumble in your music. A vintage Marshall amplifier head can help create the perfect sound in the bass and midrange levels. If you are an audiophile, you might long for good detail and presence which will include all the instrumental textures and timbres, which are provided by this headphone.

All the parts are of good quality, but if you use the headphone for a long time, you might need to change or replace many parts. As the drivers might start creating distortion and rumbling sound, or the headset might become loose. But the good thing is you can replace those parts without any hassle. Sound Quality These have a pretty solid soundstage, much bigger than your typical closed headphone. They definitely excel with any kind of acoustic music. I have also found that they're great headphones for tuning a system because it's very easy to hear changes in the system and make sense of them. Very balanced sound.

As it is an upgraded version of the HD650, they have similarities in their design. And it is also similarly really good in performance; as a result, the HG6XX has taken a grand entry in the world of audio. However, there has been some change too.
