About this deal

People have been asking what games the Switch 2 could launch with, as it clearly can’t be a new mainline Zelda. A new 3D Mario or Donkey Kong does seem the obvious guess, or I quite like the suggestion that it could be Mario Kart 9. But the most you’re likely to get is one big name Nintendo exclusive and then maybe one or two minor ones, like 1-2-Switch.

Red Dead Redemption's engine is a beast from what I have heard. The original PC port in early 2010s was scrapped due to its inflexibility, so they would have to rebuild the first game from scratch. It can be played on Xbox, even with all the up-conversion, it's still showing its age. That said could they at least patch how the improved framerate makes GTA4 unbeatable due to requiring a superhuman rate of button tapping in the last mission? of the most amazing games in existence (GTA3, GTA VC) got that port. Everything would be fine if they cared about the music and brought every single song from the original versions. doctorhino Idk what you ment to say but all these games run on Unreal Engine 4 not on the botched anniversary editions they released on mobile devices.

Though once again, I should mention that the last GTAV trailer showed no visible improvements between the PS5/XBS versions vs the PS4/XBO versions outside of the lighting.) Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, if you want to use its full name, has made headlines today with the unveiling of its debut trailer and release details. Naturally some questions for big GTA fans and indeed Switch collectors have revolved around the file size and what we can expect from the Switch physical version. Just grabbed the HD rendered original PS2 release of Vice City off the PS4 store, just in case they screw this up. Delisting is supposed to be this week, so these could go at any time.

OorWullie that would piss alot of people off including me. All 3 of these games should run fine on the switch considering they are PS2 ports with 'enhanced graphics'. If this is the case then count me out The GTA Trilogy will release later this year. We'll update you when we have a more exact release date! The poor reception of the Trilogy DE might be a reason behind that decision. #GTAIV #RDR1— Tez2 (@TezFunz2) July 4, 2022kingbk KH wasn’t ported, it’s streaming. They specifically had this made for the Switch, just like other AAA devs have done in the past with games like DOOM and The Witcher 3. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas: Five years ago, Carl ‘CJ’ Johnson escaped the haze of Los Santos, San Andreas...a city tearing itself apart with gang trouble, drugs, and corruption. Now, it's the early 90s. CJ’s got to go home - his mother has been murdered, his family has fallen apart, and his childhood friends are all heading towards disaster. On his return to the neighborhood, a couple of cops frame him for homicide, forcing CJ on a journey that takes him across the entire state of San Andreas, to save his family and to take control of the streets in the next iteration of the series that changed everything. Loved this update and would love to see more! I really wanted this game to be stellar so I could try out the series, but because I have no nostalgia for this series, I don’t think this collection would be fun for me, even with the improvements. Nintendo Life’s resident horror fanatic, when he’s not knee-deep in Resident Evil and Silent Hill lore, Ollie likes to dive into a good horror book while nursing a lovely cup of tea. He also enjoys long walks and listens to everything from Motorhead to BB King.

But if it is 30 fps, i hope it is constant because I will be buying this on Switch if it turns out well. Formerly of Official Nintendo Magazine, GameSpot, and Xbox UK, you can now find Kate's writing all over the internet. She moved to Canada a few years ago, but gets tea imported from England, because she has good priorities. Arawn93 but they're modified versions of the mobile version as opposed to a modified console version. I wish they'd just remastered the 3 games with modern movement and decent vehicle control This will be an instant buy for me. I've been thinking about getting GTA V as my first game in the franchise, but this...this looks just as good as V. So I'll probably get this instead. Too much praise over patches that shouldn't have been necessary to begin with, is like condoning their actions. Just my opinion.Vice City has crashed on me more times than I can recall. If the source material wasn't as good as it was, most of us wouldn't have been so forgiving. The only other game that has come close to this level of sloppiness was Pokémon Scarlet/Violet.

Nice. Not too big on GTA 3 (I'll of course give it another try in this collection), but Vice City was good fun, and San Andreas is still my favorite entry in the series. Really curious to see what changes they make to modernize it. modern gameplay enhancements" I hope this means the control scheme will be more in line with modern games. I have such a difficult time playing the original versions. Super stoked! And that's really the long and short of it. Yes, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition is better than it was. Of course it is. It launched in an absolute shambles.Take Two is going for it on Switch unless if they somehow couldn’t and they will probably come out honestly This trilogy has 3 games. It will probably be a digital only title considering most of Take Two games are space taking in general. And for those interested in the half-assed "physical" release, you're looking at about 12.1GB in "updates". 1GB for GTAIII, 5GB for Vice City (which is unplayable without), and 6.1GB for San Andreas. The latter is particularly ironic, because the "update" alone is bigger than the entirety of Vice City (how?).
