Dual Green View ( C) will be available only when there are both of Left and Right Greens on your fairway. I also like that this function is very easy to use because it’s just a matter of scrolling through different screens and pressing buttons on the side of your watch rather than fiddling with complicated menus.
You can search courses by country, state, and city. You can also look up when the course was last updated. Green undulation displays the gradation of the slope of the green through different colors - blue being the lowest point of incline and red being the highest. This addition will you a more realistic view of the course, resulting in more precision. We first tested the W11 on the new course at Essendon Country Club, a course that has been designed with two greens on each hole. Despite this unique course design feature, we were pleasantly surprised to find the aim W11 was aware of this and in fact has a dedicated feature that allows you to switch between greens depending on which you are playing.Battery wise it’s quite durable – without playing golf, it can last for days, and for golf, I think around 2 rounds is easily possible. There are some mental gymnastics needed here but overall, it’s just annoying that it’s not so easy to do like the Garmin. The Garmin just says, if you want to hit to 100 meters, you need to hit 162 meters. That’s it. None of this graphical bullshit that looks nice but can’t give you what you need without going through mathematics. While in golf mode, please press the yardage number (located on the top right corner of the screen) to active the green view mode. While on the play mode, touch the hole number (located on the top left corner of the screen) to bring up the hole number list.

To finish the firmware update on the WTX, the WTX watch will need to be disconnected from the computer after the message “Update Complete” is shown. Select the Tools icon and you will see an option labeled "language." You can select your desired language setting from this menu. How to Perform an Emergency Reboot • In the Advanced Menu, there is a Reset GPS function. After resetting your GPS, please allow 3-5 minutes for your GolfBuddy to establish a satellite signal. Overall, I give the Golf Buddy Aim W11’s battery life an A-. It’s always nice not having to worry about running out of battery while you’re playing; this watch definitely made my rounds a lot less stressful. What I did find unhelpful is illustrated in the picture below. If you swipe to the ‘hazard’ screen you get distances to every hazard on the hole. So if you are on a heavily-bunkered par 5 for example, you get information overload, such that I gave up even trying to use that feature. It’s a bit of a shame because that information is potentially useful. I’m aware that a competitor watch has a filter in ‘settings’ so that you only get relevant hazard yardages. That, GolfBuddy development team, would be my recommendation for the aim W13. Golf is an expensive hobby. Golfers spend a great deal of money on equipment, memberships, and travel expenses. The distance layups are shown as 100, 150, 200 yards or meters from hole, following the current unit setting (refer to section 3.6). If you are still experiencing issues, please try the emergency reboot using your computer. Please make sure the unit is powered off. Please connect your USB cable to the computer, without the unit being connected. Please hold down the MENU button. As you are holding the MENU button, please connect your unit to the USB cable. Once the EMERGENCY REBOOT message displays on the screen, please release the MENU button but leave your unit connected to the USB cable until the process is complete.The watch also has a “green view” mode that will help you figure out how far away from the green edge you are. This is useful on long putts! The touch screen functioned well even when my hands were sweaty or dirty during play; however, I did notice that sometimes the touch feature didn’t work as expected if moisture got between the screen and my skin. Its pre-loaded 40,000 courses and the fact that it is wirelessly upgradeable definitely make this watch stand out from its competitors. In BT settings, you can turn the bluetooth setting On or Off. When turning on bluetooth, the status bar will display the bluetooth icon at the top left side of the screen. The only problem with this watch’s color display is that it can be difficult to see if you’re playing at night; however, most golfers don’t play much after sunset anyway.
