Glenkinchie’s maltings remained open until 1968. The buildings have since been turned into a museum which contains a remarkable scale model of a working distillery built by SMD in 1925 for the British Empire Exhibition. Glenkinchie distillery is a Scotch single malt whisky distillery in East Lothian, Scotland. It is one of the six distilleries in the Lowland region. [1] It is owned by the drinks giant Diageo.

This single malt Scotch whisky was matured for 16 years, and released at a robust cask strength of 50.6% ABV. This one being the most different would probably make it a good serious sipper, and I did prefer it to the Tamadhu, but it wasn't to my personal liking enough to be buying a full bottle. I didn't really detect any notes that were described in the write up, but I am usually very good at identifying coffees, wines and rums.
