About this deal

What sets the TB10D apart is its warm and calm presentation, which belies the powerful sound it’s capable of producing. It’s not the most energetic amplifier out there, but it makes up for that with its smooth, rounded treble notes. This gives it a unique personality that sets it apart from more neutral amplifiers.

Fosi Audio TB10D 600W TPA3255 Power [Upgraded Version]Fosi Audio TB10D 600W TPA3255 Power

Tht is the rated power but i only think it's total both channels if so it seems a little low using a 24v 4.5 power supply,we all know it might not play 2x300 watt with a 48v 10a power supply unless it's 10% + it's not usefull since you don't wanna listen to somthing with 10% thd and for how long can it do that, 1 song ? (4-5 min max). Leave a Reply Cancel reply Did you like the review? Let me know! Please note that you should write in English, as comments in other languages will be deleted. Thank you! During inflationary (or recessionary) times, it can be "recommended' to go w/cheaper or non name-branded items because food is a necessity. One thing to note is that the TB10D isn’t entirely transparent or neutral. It has a distinct character that some listeners may find appealing, while others may prefer a more neutral sound. However, this character is what makes the TB10D stand out from other budget amplifiers and gives it a unique sound signature. Fosi Audio TB10D vs Soundavo NSA-250 (79 USD vs 200 USD) – Soundavo NSA-250 has a DAc inside, which make the setup much less complicated, and it also uses the same speaker connectors as Fosi Audio TB10D, so you’ll have a similar experience physically, except that NSA-250 has streaming abilities, is a more complex device, but also priced higher. The overall sound is about equal, with the dynamics and impact of the TB10D being more impressive, and the EQ more effective, and easier to use. The soundstage is fairly good on both, but both have a high THD that will be audible at very high volumes.Build quality appears to be great and it is in fact surprising this unit costs so little, as it is very well put together with no flaws to report. Features & Specs The TB10D sounds pretty good, honestly better than its price would suggest. The power is clean, and with the tone control you can get some warmth in the mids to hide some of that Class D brightness if you already have brighter speakers. The vocals are pleasant and the bass is pretty tight. The top end does well to add some sparkle to the sound. Depending on what speakers you pair this amp with you may not miss having a subwoofer too much. With plenty of power, the Monitor 5s were certainly reaching deep. If you imagine a C370 being replaced by something not much bigger than a couple of smartphones, it’s amazing to realize how far we’ve come in the last 20 years of Hi-Fi. Despite the exaggerated power claims, the Fosi Audio TB10D seems overkill for a desktop amp, and just a bit under-powered for a larger room for those that want the required dynamics for realism. The extra power is appreciated although not fully utilized in a desktop scenario unless you have really in-efficient speakers <86db sensitivity.

The Fosi Audio V3 is the first device from the company to feature a new, more modern design style. While previous devices adopted a more generic, classic design, the V3 is more streamlined, to the point it could be said it’s minimalistic. The only concession to form appears to be a series of holes on top of the chassis, which form a flower-like shape at the centre of which stands the Fosi Audio logo. Not only does this make the amplifier look more sophisticated, it also helps with heat dissipation (as there is a corresponding, yet not as elaborate, series of holes on the bottom). It’s a very nice design which can fit in any context. The main speakers I connected to the Fosi Audio TB10D have been KLH Model Five, NHT C3, and Buchardt S400. The DACs I used to power it have been SMSL C200, Khadas Tone 2 PRO, Aune X1s GT, HIFIMAN EF400, and JDS Labs Elk DAC II+ Balanced. The overall sonic signature of the Fosi Audio TB10D is very similar to that of the Fosi Audio BT30D, both of them have a really dynamic, punchy sound, with good instrument separation, and overall clarity. Please keep in mind that besides the default signature, the bass and treble can be uplifted heavily with the EQ potentiometers which do not increase the distortions or cause considerable problems, so the signature of TB10D can be altered drastically. Also, if anything, my experience with Fosi Audio, along with SMSL AO200, Arylic A50+, and Burson Funk has proven to me once again, that the quality of the speakers is far more important than the quality of the dac and the amplifier, and with a decent AMP , decent DAC, both entry-level , but with a really high-quality pair of speakers like the KLH Model 5, you can have a blast. As usual, I had a listen to the amplifier prior to testing to form a subjective opinion then put this on the test bench.

I have found class D amplifiers of this nature to offer A LOT of sound, meaning they often bring the power, with enough detail to impress you. Not many at this price point – some people might find a sound a little step oriented as it moves through the frequencies rather than a smooth linear output at times.

I also wouldn’t want to push the amp to deliver its maximum power (at the onset of clipping) for a long time. In most domestic settings though, where an amp like this is likely to be used, you won’t need anywhere near that amount of power unless your speakers are unusually inefficient. It’s safe to assume that this amp will produce more than enough output for its intended use, and I certainly found this to be the case. I ran the amp with a pair of Tannoy precision 6.2 floorstanding loudspeakers. They are 89dB efficient (measured at the industry standard 1W / 1M) and are a relatively easy load, though do benefit from plenty of current to really get them going. The Fosi TB10D is a standard Class-D 2ch stereo amplifier, it has a single pair of RCA inputs and R/L speaker outputs, on the front there is a volume control and the on/off switch. There are also Bass and Treble tone controls on the front of the amp, there is no remote control with the TB10D, the volume has to be manually changed.
