This one for instance, was actually composed by the great Pierre Bourdon, who would go on to compose Cool Water, which this strongly resembles. It's 8.15AM when I arrive at work, go to the mail room and find the box sat in my tray. I hurry outside eager to find out just what the hell I'd spent all this money on. I needn't have worried because, from that first spray I experienced a sort of moment of nirvana. I arrived at a place of understanding, a dawning realisation that even in the world of fragrance, there was a next level....and this was that next level. Every pound I'd spent blind was instantly justified and even rewarded with the sense that here was the best smell I had ever smelled!So, I can say all of them deserve the price tag they have on their body, but I’ll go for Cool Water for the best value. Overall Scent Nostalgia bottled. Yes, you will have smelt this many times before, but for good reason – it's always in season, and probably always will be. They somehow managed to bottle a rainy forest. It’s so incredibly calming. It’s as if they bottled the phrase ”it’s going to be alright”. Pure pure art. The dry down is the real show stopper and the performance on my F-batch is insanely good. I have a soft spot for davidoff cool water and I only bought this after hearing this is what cool water is based upon. At first, I was disappointed and I actually prefered cool water (i know.)

On the other hand, Cool Water Intense starts with a citrusy opening, and soon it becomes fruitier and lasts for an entire day. The projection level of Cool Water Intense is fantastic. It’ll always try to recreate your mood. Though Cool Water and Cool Water Parfum gathered a lot of success, there are some controversial uses of notes. The base of Cool Water contains notes like tobacco, musk, e.t.c, which can be offensive for anyone. And the floral middle part is much louder. For those reviewers going on about how “The world has moved past this 80’s smell blablabla..It's dated...." Has the world moved on from Mozart? Bach? No, that's why it's "classical". How are the new batches? I had to recently sell my 19P01 which I really enjoyed. I still have my vintage 2013/15/16s but tempted to buy a new bottle so I don't use those too much as I truly love them. I've brought some recent batches of Aventus, Himalaya and Bois Du Portugal. They're good but not as good as my older bottles. What you are smelling and what’s responsible for the typical smell is mainly the aromachemical dihydromyrcenol and some others. Probably calone and iso e super. YES: ALL of these fragrances get their typical aroma mainly from synthetics.The claim that it's a family perfumery, and that all the perfumes are composed by the Creed's: FALSE.

Cool Water, Cool Water Intense, and Cool Water Parfum are massively popular in the fragrance community. It doesn’t matter what you’re wearing, the CW series will never disappoint you in the case of getting compliments. It's very pleasant and inoffensive, surly good for office and casual environments although I could see this being dressed up as it just smells "put together" It does have similarities with Davidoff Cool water ( Pierre Bourdon also created it), but the quality of the scent is better, Cool water is a bit synthetic and has the aquatic vibe, unlike the GIT.A classic for sure, and in my top 3 of all time, best in the creed range easily, I still have a 1/3 of a bottle left that I’ve been nursing for the last two years. However, sadly I won’t be purchasing again, due to the principle of creed behaving dishonestly over free samples, something we couldn’t rectify. As much I enjoy this juice, you can easily get lost with all the dupes that exist. There's a definite similarty to Cool water, but it has more of synthetic vib. Instead Green Irish Tweed has more of a herbal base with a definite green notes. Amazing! Simply amazing. The price is really something you shoudnt be needed to pay to get a fragrance but on this instance the price is allmost suitable. So, for compliments, any of these scents will work. But if we compare, Cool Water is the clear winner here. Versatility Any list of perfumes proposed to be worn in the spring should contain Creed Green Irish Tweed. In addition to the classic, noble and elegant scent but strong at the same time, this creation that has passed the test of Time and will remain a masterpiece, regardless the good or the bad ways that the perfumery will take.

As you can see, the performance level of Cool Water Intense is much higher, and on the other hand, Cool Water is cheaper. So does it smell like Cool Water (or vice-versa)? It does. Does it therefore have the same emotional appeal? No. I reiterate; I love this, I will always love this but I believe it is based on my understanding of what it once was and still being able to detect it in there....somewhere. The harsh reality is that if I were trying this for the first time today, I almost certainly would not be prepared to spend the exorbitant amount it commands. Like a first love however, despite the passing of years, you can still see the person you fell head over heels in love with, behind the lines that never used to be there and know that regardless, they'll always have a special place in your heart.Great aftershave, has changed my opinion [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be honest, I always deemed Davidoff as a cheaper aftershave that my parents used BUT this has changed my perception. Davidoff Intense is fresh and modern aftershave, and an aftershave that I would be happy to use daily. I've never given Davidoff a chance due to a pre conceived impression but I was wrong, even my 12 year old preenager wants to borrow it. The bottle doesn't look anything special in my opinion and wouldn't inspire me to try it but I suppose never judge a book by it's cover.
