About this deal

Audrey Hepburn 1960s Fashion in Breakfast at Tiffanys: #4 - Holly Golightly’s White Terry Cloth Sleep Outfit I have been impatiently waiting to use my sprinkles on my best friend's birthday cake and cupcakes. Yesterday, was the big day. The sprinkles were so amazing, sparkly, and bold. I have never seen such beautiful sprinkles in my life. The fondant flowers were gorgeous too and added that special touch. The sprinkles were very fresh and were not overly sweet nor hard - perfection! The birthday lady along with everybody at the party loved the cake. Not everyone can afford a Givenchy mink hat, which is what Audrey Hepburn’s character Holly Golightly wears with this stunning orange outfit. Paul Varjak tells her he’ll take her out for a farewell dinner, and she replies “Only if it’s someplace I can go like this!”

The audience is introduced to the striking Ms. Golightly as she elegantly steps out of her cab in the wee hours of the morning and seemingly floats towards the New York Tiffany & Co. store windows. Her column dress was designed by famed French designer Hubert de Givenchy, a personal friend of Audrey Hepburn. The dress was so fitted for Hepburn’s narrow frame, two were actually made: one for standing at the windows and one for walking which had a long slit down the side. Audrey Hepburn’s character Holly Golightly is wearing a hot pink silk jeweled dress, tied at the waist with a pink bow, and matching pink shawl, jeweled hair accessory, earrings, and kitten heeled pumps. Her bag is sequined white and matches her cigarette holder. When Holly answers the door, Paul calls her Lula Mae. She stares at him in surprise and then says, “Where is he?” Well, when I get [the mean reds] the only thing that does any good is to jump in a cab and go to Tiffany’s. Calms me down right away. The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there.” – Holly Golightly, Breakfast at Tiffany’s Audrey Hepburn crawls out of her window onto the balcony and scales up to the apartment above and tumbles in, waking up Paul.

Audrey Hepburn 1960s Fashion in Breakfast at Tiffanys: #5 - Holly Golightly’s Pink Wrap Party Dress

Holly Golightly chatters with her new neighbor, telling him about how she’s crazy about Tiffanys, as it’s the perfect place to cheer yourself up, when you’re down, which she calls “having the case of the reds.” Paul is starting to fall for Holly. He is inspired to start writing again. He begins a short story about her, entitled simply “Friend.” Ready-to-Hang Handmade Fashion Illustration Poster with Hangers - Breakfast at Tiffany's Inspired, Clean Aesthetic, Pink Dress ArtThe lavender earplugs are quite the quintessential 1960s fashion accessory for the style icon, which continues to be copied to this day by costume makers around the world trying to recreate Holly Golightly’s charming Sleep Costume! Holly tells Paul that she’d marry him in a second if he had money, and he said he’d do the same for her. They look at each other, and then she breaks the spell by saying, “Good thing I don’t have money!” Meanwhile, Audrey Hepburn’s character Holly Golightly is outside in the fire escape, stringing her guitar and singing.
