Now the tobacco version - bought this blind. A mistake. All you smell is sweet tobacco fragrance like in a very cheap bottle of sweet tobacco fragrance oil,maybe harimain is 15% different but hardly noticeable. The tobacco is extremely strong. i tried washing it off and really had to work at it three times to get it down to about 25%. Sad Harimain made such a product, not complex, basically just one note tobacco and too much. I had only used three sprays and one spray was anemic. EMOTIONS - This is a very happy uplifting and playful,vibrant perfume. The artistry of this perfume is how it manages to stay fresh even without having any fresh notes. I had to delete my initial review as I hadn't worn this fragrance enough but I've worn this now for most of the week and my opinion has changed, alot. I remember smelling Amber Oud Gold for the first time and I thought it smelt too feminine to wear as a man.

and somehow i really like this over erba pura , it has a nice sweet warm scent. As a guy i dont really thing this is too feminine , at least for me . Oh wow, this gives a whole new meaning to the word "nuclear". Not my cup of tea, frankly, it is way to sharp to be worn by a woman, and i don't exactly enjoy today's sugary concoctions either.I'm eating a bowl of Fruity Pebbles then suddenly my whole face is shoved in the bowl and I'm drowning for the next hour in a sugary mess. Smelling Amber Oud GE today did remind me of Jasmine Wisp, but very briefly. I smell lots of pineapple which is my husbands favorite note in perfumery, but not mine. However, i find this extremely sharp, razor sharp, which gives it that specific masculine edge, and i am not sure how would this ever work on a woman, at least not on a woman trying to get a man. I could smell it on my forearm while at the store today, and i was embarrassed for wearing it. Christian Carbonnel is the perfumer that made Xerjoff Erba Pura, and he also makes perfumes for Al Haramain. Doesn’t take a genius to work out that he made Amber Oud Gold Edition, although this isn’t advertised, not surprising. The perfume industry is a crazy world. Either way, this is considered to be almost identical to Erba Pure, some consider it a slight improvement on it. I usually hate clones but as this is the same perfumer I will buy this version over Xerjoff any day.

Longevity 10/10- just when you think it's gone, boom, another comment from someone saying how strong it is. Delicios! Salată de fructe siropoasă și pe final vanilie destul de fresh, nu excesiv de dulce. Are inclusiv nota aceea chimică de cauciuc ars similar Erba Pura, pe mine nu mă deranjează, o găsesc interesantă. I love the smell, it's like an overload of sweet fresh fruit in your nostrils, its quite feminine so as a guy I just spray it on my chest, then apply a different fragrance to the rest of me (but I still get more whiffs of this throughout the day). It lasts at least 12 hours on me. I had to idea however that it was this potent. Advice from a chronic over sprayer: DO NOT OVERSPRAY this one. You will choke. Two sprays should do and i have never ever thought that about any fragrance. With that said, this is VERY POTENT....it stays on clothes after 3-4 washes. Obviously I was home a lot and would freely spray this on all day not realizing I was completely going nose blind to it. The scent permeated my linen closet, stayed in my bathroom for weeks.Amber Oud however, is literally TF Tobacco Vanille and I do have a 50ml bottle of the original. However, Amber Oud is longer lasting and slightly stronger than TF. TV is my wife's favourite fragrance but when I wear this she can't tell the difference. On the dry down there are subtle differences but overall, this does the job. Amber Oud Gold Edition by Al Haramain Perfumes is a Amber Vanilla fragrance for women and men. Amber Oud Gold Edition was launched in 2018. Top notes are Bergamot and Green Notes; middle notes are Sweet Notes, Melon, Pineapple and Amber; base notes are Musk, Vanilla and Woody Notes. Reminds me of a ice cream called chameleon that I had as a 5 year old... Ever since then it completely disappeared, but this smells quite a bit like it. Unique and strong. I love it. My first thought was...oh yeah, this smells like something from the Middle East. I was actually bummed because it's a fantastic perfume, just didn't perform well on my skin chemistry, which is unfortunate. But my boss tested it later that day and loved it, and it actually performed better on him than it did on this guy I met earlier this year! So I ended up giving it to him! At least the perfume went to great hands of an amazing person (:

Al Haramain Amber Oud Gold Edition My SO mentioned that it reminds her of "that kind of guy" on nights out who wears excessive amounts of overpowering cologne, and I agree. It has a slightly vulgar and exaggerated aroma. Starts off with a fizzy tropical juice vibe (super sweet) and retains that sweetness as it dries down but with added powderyness. It's nice - I've smelt nothing like it before. However, despite others on here raving about how amazing its performance is, I sadly haven't experienced that at all. It becomes a skin scent almost instantly for me (even on tester strips and clothes). Amber Oud Gold is a fruity, melony type of scent that really makes you feel happy and good whenever you wear it. I adore it!

Fell in love with Erba pura but not it’s price. Went on here to find dupes. Opening is a bit harsh, but the cologney vibe from the bergamot vanish within a minute. I’m left with a lovely mixture of ALL notes listed. Experience our Amber Vanilla fragrance loved by all from the House of Al Haramain which captures the attention not only of the wearer but everyone around. Keeping in tradition with the woody theme of other Amber Oud fragrances, the Gold Edition can only be described as decadence in a bottle. It is strong! A fruity amber fragrance. Overall I think I don’t like the amber tones in this once the fruitiness goes. I enjoy the unusual fruit notes in the opening and heart.
