About this deal

Whoever has the son means those that have saving faith in Him and a true devotion to Him. Mark 8:34-38 says that those who “Lose their life will gain it.” When we have true devotion to God we will have life in return. If you do not have the Son you are subject to eternal punishment (John 3:36). The Bible is clear here, and elsewhere that Jesus is the one and only way to God, (cf. John 14:6; 1 John 2:23). The blood was the atoning work of Christ on the cross. 1 John 1:7 says that the “blood cleanses us from all unrighteousness.” Just to be clear where John is getting these three items that provide credibility, lets briefly look to the Gospels, were we saw the water and the spirit working together to affirm Jesus Christ (testify) at His baptism. We remember that as Jesus began his earthly ministry, he went to the Jordan River to be baptized by John the Baptizer. In doing so, he allowed for his disciples and many others to see God testify that this was His son.

It’s the “vehicle” stage because something is happening through you — you become a channel through which you allow everything to happen. Wherever you are on your journey, here are some inspirational quotes to help you see it as the most rewarding experience: Our health does not remain the same. Our physical, emotional, and spiritual state changes as we get older. What we can control, however, is how we feed our minds and our bodies. Bill Gates, the co-founder of Microsoft, said, "Most people overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in ten years." In other words, Gates isn't thinking in days, weeks, months, or even years – he's thinking in decades. This journey of becoming the best version starts with celebrating yourself as a unique creation. It starts with loving yourself. So your transformation is impossible without self-love and self-appreciation. — Mahatria, trainer of Mindvalley’s A Journey to Infinitheism Quest Transformed lives begin with the gospel message of Christ, for in it is the power of God. It is the gospel that brings us salvation: “I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: ‘The righteous will live by faith’” (Romans 1:16-17).

In Ephesians 4:17-19, Paul paints a grim portrait of how unbelievers live. While not all unbelievers are as bad as they possibly could be, they all live “in the futility of their mind, being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart” (4:17b-18). That bleak picture describes each of us before we met Jesus Christ. Through the gospel message of Christ, we learn “to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness” (Ephesians 4:22-24). “For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God” (Romans 8:13-14). Living a balanced and healthy life builds our resilience to the physical changes of our body. Exercise is the best way in which we can attain a positive and optimistic attitude toward life. One of the best ways to jolt yourself out of a disappointing life is to do something completely different.

When you realize that your experiences are determined by subconscious programming and conditioning, you begin to see that life is happening for you. This new perspective allows you to break free from beliefs and perceptions that no longer serve. In his book, The Power of Habit, Charles Duhigg suggests that exercise is a powerful keystone habit:

The Ordeal: Here you face your major challenge. It could be your biggest shadow, fear, or limiting belief that you must overcome to proceed to the next stage.Billy Cox, Jimi Hendrix's bass guitarist, once said, "Life will only change when you become more committed to your dreams than you are to your comfort zone." A dream board is a great way for you to start believing in your own dreams again. Seeing your dreams every day on a dream board brings them life. It will also act as a daily reminder to refocus your energy and direct it toward what you really want to achieve. 3. Set Goals The world will corrupt us with self-centeredness and covetousness, but we can overcome this and love others if we remain in Christ. Without Christ showing us His true worth, we treat him like nothing more than a cosmic sugar daddy. The solution to overcoming this is to have NEW FAITH, NEW LOVE and NEW LIFE. This comes from a greater understanding of who Jesus is in reality, not who we hope Him to be in our desires.

Third, God is the pattern of this new man. It has been created (literally) “according to God,” or, as the NASB interprets it (in line with Col. 3:10), “in the likeness of God.” Specifically, Paul mentions “righteousness and holiness of the truth.” (Righteousness and holiness are aspects of God’s character in Psalm 144:17 and Deuteronomy 32:4. See, also, Luke 1:75; 1 Thess. 2:10; Titus 1:8.) These qualities are essentially synonymous, but righteousness refers to living according to God’s standards, whereas holiness has the nuance of essential purity. Both qualities are the result of the truth, namely, the truth as it is in Jesus. In other words, the truth of sound doctrine results in holy living. For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. [5] Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? As Lloyd-Jones points out ( ibid.), all of the world’s major religions are built around teachings and ideas. But, in sharp contrast, the truth of the gospel is rooted in history. The Christian message is the proclamation of certain facts that happened in history in the person of Jesus. If the gospel accounts are fictional stories, then there is no salvation in Jesus! If the historic person of Jesus did not die on the cross and rise bodily from the dead, as testified by many reliable eyewitnesses, then you are still in your sins (1 Cor. 15:17). Everything in the Christian faith rests on the truth being in the historical person of Jesus, crucified and risen from the dead! A transformed life is characterized by a mind of renewal. As it says in Ephesians 4:22-24 (NKJV), we are to put off the old self and be renewed in the spirit of our mind. When our minds are renewed, we begin to think like Christ and our actions reflect His will. Mark 1:10–11 says, “[10] And when he came up out of the water, immediately he saw the heavens being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. [11] And a voice came from heaven, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.” The same account was recorded by John himself in John 1:32–34 where says that John the baptizer knew this was God’s own because He saw God’s Spirit on Him.A 2003 study by Emmons and McCullough found that keeping a daily gratitude journal can increase our sense of well-being, improve our sleep, help lower symptoms of physical pain, and – get this – improve our willingness to accept change. Some of us have dedicated more time to studying things outside of Christ. This can be hobbies, instruments, cars, video games, fly fishing, and cooking more than Christ. Some of us have dedicated more time to studying business, finance, leadership or entrepreneurialism more than Christ. Some of us have dedicated ourselves to studying doctrine, tongues, Calvinism, headship, eschatology or other peripheral doctrines more than Christ. None of these things are bad things to study, but if we are growing in our knowledge of something more than Christ, it begs the question, are we cultivating an insatiable desire to know Jesus? Also, focus on the process, not the results. Here's what I mean: If you want to climb Mount Everest and all you think about is summiting, you'll never make it. Forget about summiting and focus on the training, preparation, and climbing that can add up to years of work.
