The upgraded pull start (known as easy start) allows much easier starting of the quad bike and features a new spring assisted method of pull starting. This far surpasses the older style and now outdated pull start quads. The A-arms were completely redesigned with their wide-arc shape offering an additional 1.4” of ground clearance at the midpoint. This was accompanied by redesigned front axle protectors.

The safety features have not been overlooked either with safety cut-out tether, adjustable throttle restrictor and full wraparound foot plates keep the riders feet away from the moving wheels. This Renegade Race-X 1000W 36V Electric Quad bike as plenty of power to keep the kids happy but is whisper quiet to keep the neighbours happy too.With the DESS Key attached, the Renegade comes to life with a push of the start button. After 10 or 15 seconds, the idle settles down and the engine is ready for action. None of the bikes we provide are ‘road legal’ and are not for use on the public highway. These bikes are intended to be enjoyed on private property. Use of these bikes on a public highway could result in criminal proceedings.

The throttle’s Eco mode really mellows out the power and does well filtering abrupt, unwanted input from the rider while traversing bumpy, technical terrain. It also makes the brutish power much more manageable while cruising through the tight, twisty sections. Normal mode provides full throttle wide-open, with smooth delivery off the bottom. Sport mode delivers more throttle sooner in the throttle throw with crisp, precise throttle response. Sport mode provides the most direct throttle feel, with virtually zero detectable lag when you punch the gas at any RPM. The more directly connected feeling lets you appreciate just how insanely powerful the big Rotax V-twin really is.Braking power and feel on the Can-Am Renegade 1000R X XC were both very good. Braking is a bit biased toward the front as you would want. The rear brake pedal’s position is pretty good albeit a little high. There’s also a handlebar-mounted parking brake that’s easy to engage. Health and Safety has determined that this type of product is intended for use by 14 years and above. However due to its size and ease of use we are aware that this Mini Moto is very attractive and popular with much younger children and we often get asked if it is suitable for children as young as 6 and under. As the ability and experience of younger children can vary greatly, the use by children under the age of 14 is therefore solely at the discretion of the parents who are in the best position to assess the capability of their child. What we would urge is that whatever the age of the rider that they wear adequate protective gear and the bike should only be used in appropriate places with adult supervision.

This quad is built for racing, so performance parts are scattered all over the model with a high-compression head, special cam and race fuel mapping just for starters. A fully digital display is mounted “in front of” instead of “on top of” the handlebars unlike most 4×4 ATVs. This makes it easy to outfit the Outlander with any type of aftermarket handlebar style or bend you prefer. Tapered aluminum handlebars standard add to the machine’s race ready setup along with the sport style, wrap around, hand guards. Steering feel was good. Differences between the power steering modes are small, but noticeable. We typically switched between mid and max settings depending on conditions, although we could simply leave it in max and be satisfied. It works well without leaving you feeling disconnected from the trail, making it one of our favorite power steering systems on the market. This 50cc Mini Moto Quad Bike has been designed with safety in mind and conforms to current EU and CE standards. The safety features include a throttle restrictor to slow the Quad down to safe pace if required, allowing the rider’s confidence to grow. Then as the riders proficiency improves simply open up the throttle settings and the machine will allow more performance. There is also a Safety Tether which can either be used on a long lead to enable you to stop the Quad should the rider loose control or attached to the rider’s wrist to bring the Quad to a safe halt should the rider become unseated.
