It’s built off the brewery’s Korova Milk Porter with a hefty dose of peanut butter powder. This works wonders with the coffee and chocolate flavors from the original beer. PBK (Peanut Butter Korova) is a Baltic oatmeal milk drink with an ABV of 6%. It uses Fuggles hops and its malts include two-row, brown, Munich, chocolate, crystal 30, and flakes. Appearance – The beer pours a dep brown color with a tiny head of brown foam. The head fades rather fast leaving foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Meadmakers are also using peanut products to build unique flavor profiles. Superstition Meadery uses PB2 and has a smart way of fully incorporating it into solution. For example, Peanut Butter Jelly Crime is a peanut-butter-and-jelly mead made with wildflower honey, blueberry puree, and powdered peanut butter.
