About this deal

Like their entire range,Neunaber's Immerse MkII is aimed particularly at contemporary and experimental guitar players. This means that apart from its class-leading sounds, the unit can also be seamlessly integrated into your rig.

Shimmer– Reminiscent of a synth pad that follows what your instrument plays, this effect combines the best qualities of our previous shimmers. Hall – The lush, open sound of a concert hall with adjustable modulation depth for achieving deep modulated tones. Other misc features are: Stereo in and out, Kill Dry Switch (externally accessible), Trails Switch (externally accessible). The Kill Dry is much more helpful than I anticipated. While it does have more practical uses for how you wire up your rig, I use it mainly to shape my reverb tone. The fact that this is external is brilliant. There are no favorite switches or taps and this will never plug into your PC for updates like their Expanse series. CONTROLS Effect level, depth, tone, variable function control (depending on mode selected), eight-way mode switch: wet, hall, plate, spring, 2x shimmer, rev+echo, rev+detune; ‘kill dry’ and trails switchesPlenty, sounds fantastic, loads of options without being too much, easy to configure, compact, not too power hungry at 80mA. Stereo, top quality parts. And those ultra-ambient washes we were wondering about? They’re in there – but make that a million lovelorn angels. If you’ve ever listened to a cathedral organ and thought the best bit was the slow dying of those massive, dissonant overtones after the organist stopped playing, you’ll enjoy kneeling in front of your amp for a few sacred moments of this. Neunaber make pedals for the ambient guitarist. Their range of shimmers, verbs, and modulation are all created using digitalalgorithms but with the quality you would expect out of an all analogue circuit. The Immerse Reverberator is a multitype reverb pedal that covers everything from the subtle to the insane. However, Neunaber's flagship W3T reverb mode has been refined too, delivering asmoother and more three-dimensional sound. Now with adjustable pre-delay, it enhances what you play without covering it. If it sounds good do it, just to be clear about that. Its RULE 1`of music and electronics takes a bak seat to music in my book, even if you are blowing up a vintage supro amp worth over a grand.

The Immerse Mk II represents the very best in pedal reverberation — with studio-quality algorithms, high-fidelity circuitry, heavy-duty components and construction — all in a small footprint. The Mk II is a monumental step forward and features completely-redesigned circuitry and upgraded algorithms. The +detune mode is fun too. You have to crank the level significantly to bring the effect to the fore. But once you do, the almost queasy, pitch-shifting effect becomes a cool melodic tool. The only bummer is that you cannot control the intensity of the pitch shift. Some pedals give you a lot of options and you feel paralyzed with what to do. Neunaber have hit the perfect point with this pedal. Along with the standard controls that make the reverb sound like it does you also have a 'kill dry' switch to well kill the dry signal as well as a 'trails' switch to set if the effect trails off after you turn it off. Specifications Right, let’s go through all eight sounds. ‘Wet’ is an updated version of the algorithm that powers the Neunaber Wet pedal. It’s a richly atmospheric ’verb that can be coloured with some tasteful modulation using that bottom-right function knob… and it sounds huge, especially in stereo. The level, depth and tone controls let you decide exactly how you want the reverb to blend in with your dry signal; and while things can get properly epic, the guitar itself is never swamped. Boasting an analogue dry-throughsignal path for low noise and zero latency, the Immerse MkII also sports a high-quality buffer to ensure that your signal remains strong and clear. Stereo outputs also let you take full advantage of the incredible reverbsoffered by the unit, so that you can achieve an ultra-wide wall of soundwhen using two amplifiers. Modes:goede keuze van soort reverbs. Zeer goede kwaliteit van afwerking (klik draaiknop, voelt heel stevig aan). Hall– The lush, open sound of a concert hall, now with adjustable modulation depth for achieving deep modulated tones.

Detune – Adds a detuned double of the dry signal with reverb. The blend control adjusts the amount of detune vs. detuned reverb. I guess Neaunabers expanse and exp system (which I believe is now discontinued) catered for presets. Whereas the Immerse is more of s standalone multi reverb unit without the need for an additional footswitch to switch between algorithmsEcho is a blending type delay. You can control how much delay you want in your signal or how much reverb. It’s more of an either or while blending between the two. To be honest, the delay was frustrating at first because it sounded better than my other delay pedals. What a good problem to have though. Spring – The distinctive twerp of a tube-driven spring reverb. Now with adjustable modulation speed, it can achieve a vibrato-spring sound. What of the other settings on the immerse? The other algorithms on offer consist of the usual spring, hall and plate then some more unusual offerings; sustain, echo, detune and shimmer. The plate hall and spring are exactly what you would expect if you have ever used any other reverb. They are excellent algorithms and I find myself if not using the W3T using the hall for a wide cavernous reverb. With 8 richer reverbs and a Mix knob that goes 100% wet, the Immerse Mk II is our best-sounding reverberator to date. Delivering the same no-nonsense flexibility as its predecessor, it’s more user-friendly than ever before. Shimmer – Reminiscent of a synth pad that follows what your instrument plays, this effect combines the best qualities of our previous shimmers.
