What better way to celebrate Pokémon’s 25th anniversary than with a TCG collection that highlights some of our favorite cards and mechanics throughout the series’ history. The Pokémon Trading Card Game: Celebrationscollection will start launching on October 8, with a variety of products being available. It has a lot of updated character artworks that look more like they’re out of a video game, than an artists hand.This set also has the beautiful Erika’s Venusaur #4 which is notoriously hard to grade in a 10, because of its large holofoil area. In my opinion it’s a great vintage booster box to obtain, available in 1st Edition and Unlimited printings. As Holon Phantoms is only a 110 card set, that wasn’t heavily printed, it’s one of those boxes that gives the potential to pull something highly valuable – as such booster box prices in the market reflect this. A quarter of a century ago rampant Pokemon burst onto our TV's, our games consoles and for many of us our hearts (heh, cute right). This year marks the 25th Anniversary of Pokemon and it could be argued that the Trading Card Game is as strong now as it was in the heights of Pokémania in the late 90s / early 00s. In Celebration of this a special Pokemon 25th Anniversary Collection called Celebrations is due to launch on October 8th, 2021.
