our beeswax is heated at 90+ degrees for at least 2 hours, water washed and then the process is repeated – botulism spores are destroyed at these high temps after 10 to 20 minutes so the risk is extremely low. Our crayons are designed to be used on paper, card and other art materials. Apart from our bath crayons, they are not designed specifically to be washed off, however if this was to happen, using a cloth wet with warm water could help clean up the crayons. Less extreme, but untested: Get a self-leveling floor compound, used for leveling uneven floors and somehow pour it through your existing gap to settle below the tub. Rather extreme, but attach a beam to the side of the tub (requiring drilling and bolts) and then attach that to a wall stud with screws or another fastener. This will also reduce movement. NO! As stated above, battens is probably your best bet alongside making sure all feet are touching the floor when the bath is empty. If you cut horizontal battens to go under the bath ends, you can then support these on vertical battens fixed to the wall below. (Imagine the pi symbol made with 3 bits of wood.)
Expanding foam (Great Stuff is one brand) can be inserted into the gap and will make a tight fit. Caulk over once dried for durability Wooden or plastic shims (wedges of material) could be inserted under the tub if accessible, to also reduce movement. You might also achieve this placing the shims along the exterior edge of the tub. For most bathroom surfaces, our bath crayons will come away easily with a warm cloth, if you are finding these harder to remove, you can try an appropriate spray and wipe, or creme cleaner for the surface - preferably a natural or eco based version. Any ideas / advice much appreciated. I have been assured that there is nothing that can be done as it's a cheap bath and will flex but I thought I would ask on here and see what response I get. I have been told it is perfectly safe though.I don't over fill it and I am not an overly heavy person (12 stone). It doesn't drop when just standing in it, only when filled with water and then more so with the weight of a person.
